Voltage Lounge

Philadelphia, PA

On November 17  LA band Phinehas released their topical concept album "Dark Flag" which stems from the human atrocities carried out by the Kim regime in North Korea.

Phinehas is currently on the road in support of "Dark Flag" with Fit For A King, Like Moths to Flames, and In Hearts Wake.  Philly's Voltage Lounge played host to the tour Tuesday night Nov 21.

After local act Left To Vanish got the crowd revved up Phinehas jumped on stage and put together a crushing high-energy set.  Lead singer Sean McCulloch played to the explosive vibe in the room and had everyone on their feet with hands in the air and bodies in the pit.

The new album was well represented in the set as "Dark Flag", "Break The Earth", and "Know Death, Know Forever" pummeled the crowd. Seriously speaking, Philly was all in for Phinehas.  Massive energy, a chaotic mosh pit, and huge applause met every song.  One lone a-hole started to get out of hand and McCulloch chastized him from the stage.  Fists were flying, but all in time with the killer tunes from Phineas.
