BLACK STONE CHERRY is set to release their sixth studio album, Family Tree via Mascot Records/Mascot Label Group on 20th April 2018.  Burnin’, the first musical taste of the new collection is available today, along with the ability to pre-order the release in various physical and digital formats.  Check out the lyric video for Burnin’ here and pick up your digital version here.   Physical album formats, including a UK exclusive clear vinyl option limited to just 1500 copies are available here.

Family Tree is the much-anticipated follow up to 2016’s Kentucky, which debuted at #5 on the Official UK Album Chart.  Like Kentucky, BLACK STONE CHERRY opted to self-produce and track Family Tree at David Barrick's Barrick Recording in Glasgow, KY, the same studio where the four-piece recorded their eponymous debut.  BSC also opted to not over-rehearse upfront of the album sessions, instead preferring the immediacy and spontaneity of in-the-moment takes.  The band also entrusted frontman Chris Robertson to mix the songs, which perfectly fit the loose, creative process that birthed Family Tree.

Family Tree boasts BSC’s tried-and-true lucky number with its 13 songs, and like all BSC releases, features songwriting contributions from each member.  Drummer John Fred tells us, “Family Tree showcases all of our collective musical influences and how we have taken those to create something that is truly our own unique Southern American rock ‘n roll sound.”  Two special guests appear, one bringing the concept of family full circle.  Chris’ 5 yr old son contributes backup vocals on the swaggering You Got The Blues, while the other, revered jam-band musician Warren Haynes (Allman Bros/Gov’t Mule) offers a guitar cameo and vocals on the delta stomp of Dancing In The Rain.  The band first met Warren 17 years ago as freshly-signed youngsters on their first visit to New York City.

The concept of family looms large in the world of BLACK STONE CHERRY’s four band members.  Sticksman John Fred Young's father Richard and his uncle Fred, are founding members of the Grammy Award-winning country rock n’ roots band, The Kentucky HeadHunters.  BSC’s four high school-aged friends - Young, plus frontman/guitarist Chris Robertson, guitarist Ben Wells and bassist Jon Lawhon - grew up honing their craft in the Headhunters’ Practice House, an abandoned property on the Young family’s farmland.  John Fred says, “We grew up in the Kentucky Headhunters’ rehearsal space, looking up at posters of Cream, Led Zeppelin, Uriah Heep, the Stones, Montrose, and the Faces.  We were like kids someone took in a time capsule and put in the woods,”

Family Tree’s tracklisting runs as follows:
Bad Habit
New Kinda Feelin
Carry Me On Down The Road
My Last Breath
Southern Fried Friday Night
Dancin’ In The Rain (featuring Warren Haynes)
Ain’t Nobody

James Brown
You Got The Blues
I Need A Woman
Get Me Over You
Family Tree

BLACK STONE CHERRY’s first visit to UK shores in 2018 will be as direct special guests to Guns n’ Roses at Download Festival ( on Saturday 9th June.  The band’s honest, gutsy, no-nonsense approach to their live show has allowed them to rock 12,000-cap arena dates across the UK for a number of years.  Expect this to be their modus operandi for the foreseeable future in the wake of the release of Family Tree.

British rockers Stone Broken just premiered the video for their new song “Heartbeat Away” via Kerrang! The track premieres ahead of the release of their second album Ain’t Always Easy, out April 13. “Heartbeat Away” confronts the subject of domestic violence, a topic frontman Rich Moss admits is close to home. Listen here.

“The subject of 'Heartbeat Away' is a little closer to home than most of the other songs I have written,” says Moss. “Seeing the impact that domestic violence has on a person you are close to and the way it affects the people around them isn't a very nice thing to experience. I thought it was time to shine a light on something that usually happens behind closed doors, hidden away from the rest of the world. When people listen to this song, I think they will know that it's personal and that I mean every word."

Stone Broken will be touring the U.S. this March and April, supporting Adelitas Way. Dates are below:

San Diego-based brutalizing metal quintet CAVE BASTARD - comprised of ex/current members of Cattle Decapitation, Gutrot, Ritual Torture, Bridge Jumper, Temblad, and others - has completed harnessing the grinding, blackened scourge of their debut LP, The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth, set for release through Accident Prone Records in late March.

The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth was captured in October 2016 at Audio Design Studios in San Diego, recorded and mixed by legendary engine-ear, Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Brutal Truth, Cattle Decapitation) with assistant engineer Jordan Andreen, mastered at Trakworx by Justin Weis, and completed with artwork by Varises Otak.
CAVE BASTARD will issue The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth on LP and digital formats on March 23rd via Accident Prone, who also released the band's split with BLK-OPS in August 2017. A brief trailer including a snippet of audio, the cover art, and more can be viewed
Stand by for further audio previews, preorders, and more in the coming weeks.
Three-and-a-half years in the making, the debut full-length dark vision of CAVE BASTARD is ready to be unleashed. The album combines the band's bleak imagery and outlook with devastatingly brutal riffs and earthmoving rhythms which set the tone for a voyage into the apocalypse. Featuring eight new songs bearing titles such as "Massacre Reaction," "Trapped In A World Of Formlessness," and "Purity Through Oblivion," CAVE BASTARD draws you in to their void of chaos. CAVE BASTARD is the manifestation of atrocities, inhumanities, and corruption, and The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth is the first chapter in their tale of torment.
CAVE BASTARD has just announced the addition of their new drummer Marlon Matthew (Temblad) who replaces longtime drummer Steve Reed, joining vocalist Steve Pearce, bassist Troy Oftedal (ex-Cattle Decapitation, Piglife), and guitarists Nick Padron and Chase Ferguson (both formerly of Bridge Jumper). The revamped lineup's first show will take place on February 15th supporting Mammoth Grinder at a hometown show. Additional tour dates are to be expected shortly and throughout the year.

"”Down With The Ship" is about the world slowly sinking into shit. A world where our leaders take advantage of the workers and pit us against each other. A world where they want to put walls up and the people down. A world where our votes don't count. And also it's about being eaten by sharks." - Mikey Classic (vocals, guitar, banjo)
The Goddamn Gallows have reinvented themselves once again with The Trial. From rockabilly, psychobilly and punk rock, to bluegrass and metal, The Trial infuses disparate sounds into a new strange recipe of seamless genre bending profundities.

Undoubtedly one of the top hard rock tours of the springtime will be the teaming of Sevendust and Madame Mayhem on a trek throughout the U.S. - beginning on April 21 in El Paso, TX, and wrapping up on June 1 in Sioux City, IA (with more dates coming soon). A true rocker with an eclectic style in every aspect of life, Madame Mayhem merges theatricality with hard-hitting, rocking tunes. And paired with Sevendust, this bill will certainly be one hot ticket.

“Really excited to get back on the road and play!,” says Mayhem. “This tour is going to be so much fun. The band and I are thrilled to be supporting SEVENDUST on this run, those guys are like family to us. For this U.S. run, we will be supporting SEVENDUST on their tour,  as well as playing some headlining shows of our own in between. These will be shows you will not want to miss. Can't wait to get on stages and rock out with the crowds, while continuing to spread the music from our newest album, ‘Ready For Me,’ to the masses.”

Mayhem’s new killer music video, for the track “War You Started,” was recently unveiled - serving as just one of the many standout rockers from her latest album, ‘Ready for Me’ (issued via Metalville label in the UK and Europe, and HeadBall Records in the US), “War You Started” certainly passes the test in concert, as the singer explains, “’War You Started’ is the first track on the album, ‘Ready For Me.’ It's also one of my favorites to kick off our sets with since it's hard hitting, high energy, and gets not only the crowd moving, but us moving and excited as well.”

Written by Madame Mayhem, Corey Lowery (who also produced the album), and Clint Lowery (Sevendust), the video stands apart from previous videos. “The ‘War You Started’ music video is different from my others. It's the first music video I have shot with my touring band. We had so much fun during the video shoot. We actually made the video in Atlanta right between our US and UK/European tours. The music video was directed and edited by guitarist Gogi Randhawa. It was cool to have a band member direct and be in the video at the same time. I am so happy with how it came out and thrilled that viewers can see the energy myself and the band put into performing.” The clip can be viewed in all its explosive glory via this link:

The singer has performed across the United States to packed rooms, including B.B. King Blues Club, The Roxy, The Viper Room, Bowery Ballroom, Knitting Factory, a residency at The Cutting Room, the Bluebird Café during Grammy nomination week, Shiprocked Cruise 2017 and 2018, Sunfest 2017, Sturgis Buffalo Chip 2017, and has performed on national tours with renowned and respected artists such as Doro, Mushroomhead, and just completed extensive tour of Europe with Fozzy.

Madame Mayhem has been covered in both fashion and rock music media worldwide, which includes feature coverage in Aquarian Weekly, Brave Words, Fashion Style, Gannett, Guitar World, KNAC, Loudwire (her music videos have been top 10 for multiple weeks), New Noise, Revolver, The Day In Rock, listed in ROCKwell UnScene Magazine’s top 5 Best Female Vocalists of 2016, and more. Additionally, she made most added on the CMJ Loud Radio Charts with over 60 stations nationally in the United States. Also, she has been mentioned in Modern Drummer and is on the latest cover of Black Velvet Magazine.

Soon, lucky U.S. fans will get the opportunity to experience Madame Mayhem on a nearby concert stage - with Sevendust!

20 years since the release of their debut album and 20 million album sales later, GODSMACK are an even stronger animal than before. The proof is in the grooves of WHEN LEGENDS RISE, their first album in four years that's due out April 27 via BMG and marking their debut on the label. The album is available for pre-order now (here) with instant grat track, "Bulletproof."
Arriving to radio today, February 28, the first single is "Bulletproof," which shows the band--Sully Erna [vocals, guitar], Tony Rombola [guitar], Robbie Merrill [bass], and Shannon Larkin [drums]--doubling down on their combination of tightly wound riffs, rhythmic fury, naked emotions and pushed-to-the-edge vocals, all fired up with melodic precision and tight songcraft. An official music video is coming soon.
What inspired the songs on WHEN LEGENDS RISE? "It was just about evolving as a songwriter," says singer and songwriter Sully Erna. "I wanted to stretch my wings out even further to use all the experiences I've had with writing different types of music over the years and applying that to find a way to introduce a newer, fresher, more mature sound, but still maintaining the power of Godsmack."
WHEN LEGENDS RISE, the band's seventh studio album, was recorded at their headquarters (GSHQ) in Derry, New Hampshire and produced by Erik Ron and Sully Erna. Sonically intense and layered, it pushes the band forward and kicks off with the title track which begins with tribal-style drums and lethal riffs. "When Legends Rise" speaks to "the band and our journey," says Erna."It's been an amazing road we have traveled through all the ups and downs. But being able to conquer those challenging times with alcohol and egos and everything else that can tear a band apart is what we are the most proud of.  To be able to stand strong again and do it better than we ever have. It's about burning it down and building it back up. It's the Phoenix rising from the ashes!"
Emotions run strong on "Bulletproof." Says Erna: "I always write about things that have affected me on an emotional level. I think everyone knows that about me by now. But if I choose to do that, I have to be prepared to be honest and vulnerable. And so the challenge is figuring out how 'exposed' you want to be with personal information. But I've also learned over the years that for me, being transparent, even to the point of embarrassment sometimes, is so much better than holding it inside and extending that pain longer than you need to. 'Bulletproof' is just another moment in my life when I allowed myself to be vulnerable and got hurt. It's this kind of carelessness from other people that eventually hardens you and forces you to put up that wall to protect yourself.  So when and if they circle back around and try to get back in, you make yourself bulletproof."
Another album standout is the anthemic "Unforgettable" with its towering, massive sound and some special vocal guests. "It's my favorite song on the record," says Erna. "And thanks to an organization I work with called C.A.T.S. (Community Alliance for Teen Safety) that focuses on helping young kids stay on the right path, I invited a bunch of kids from the DERRY Middle Schools of New Hampshire to sing with me which I feel really brought this song over the top! They were incredible, and the song is Unforgettable!!"
WHEN LEGENDS RISE is also highlighted by the powerful string-laden ballad "Under Your Scars." "I come from a very broad background in music," explains Erna.  "My great uncle was a famous composer in Sicily, and my dad is still a musician and runs an Italian band in the Boston area. So as I've grown over the years as an artist, I've regressed back to ALL TYPES of music and instruments I love working with and composing. So I called upon my dear friend Irina Chirkova to lay down the cello parts and Zvezdelina Haltakova (both from Bulgaria) did all the violin parts for me. And I really feel that this specific track will be something people will gravitate towards since it's the first real ballad we've put on a Godsmack record. I think like it or not, they will gravitate towards it to explore it out of curiosity. But again, it's about taking risks and expanding."
WHEN LEGENDS RISE follows the success of 2014's 1,000 HP, which entered the Top Billboard 200 chart at #3, with two #1 debuts (Billboard Top Alternative Albums: #1 Billboard Top Hard Rock Albums: #1).
One of rock's most explosive live acts,GODSMACK will perform at seven U.S. festivals, between April 27 and July 14 (see the dates below), to be followed later this year by a major outdoor amphitheater tour (details TBA).
The WHEN LEGENDS RISEtrack listing is:
"When Legends Rise"
"Every Part Of Me"
"Take It To The Edge"
"Under Your Scars"
"Just One Time"
"Say My Name"
"Let It Out"
"Eye Of The Storm"

NAPALM DEATH Debut New Single, "Call That An Option?", From Upcoming Rarities & Covers Compilation, "Coded Smears And More Uncommon Slurs"

Band Announced As Support Act On Second Leg of Slayer's Final N. American Tour alongside Lamb of God, Anthrax & Testament; Tickets On Sale Now!

Swedish melodic death metal pioneers AT THE GATES are launching the first single from their much anticipated new album, “To Drink From The Night Itself”, by debuting the music video for the upcoming album’s title track!

Check out the song “To Drink From The Night Itself” in the music video directed by Patric Ullaeus / (In Flames, Arch Enemy, Dimmu Borgir) at this location:

AT THE GATES frontman Tomas Lindberg checked in to comment about the track as follows:

“So, for the first song to present to the public, we chose the title track of the album. Which is also the opening track of the record. To us, this gives a presentation of the attitude of the album: raw, hungry and desperate. It also gives an introduction to the whole concept of the record. We live through our art, and the whole album deals with the concept of art. Art as a tool either for revolution, or suppression. To drink from the night itself is just that, a metaphor for living and breathing through art. Of course the concept goes deeper than that, but this song is the heart of the concept, the fierce call to arms so to say. We are still at war, but this time we are fighting the abyss, the abyss of apathy and oppression. It is an aggressive song, but also contains a lot of the other elements of the band´s sound on this record. Melancholia, desperation and struggle. For the first video we chose to use Patric Ullaeus again, as he is good at capturing the raw energy of the band playing live. In the video you can also see glimpses of the art used for the cover, so it binds it all together nicely. Enjoy.”

ARMORED SAINT Announces North American Tour; Band To Perform Symbol Of Salvation In Its Entirety

Knoxville, Tennessee, based thrash metal outfit, WarClown, recently finished tracking a new album with legendary engineer Juan Urteaga (Testament, Exodus, Machine Head) handling the post production duties.

The yet-to-be titled album, to be released this summer, features a guest vocal appearance from renowned Nashville rocker Charlie Bonnet III on the song "On The Shoulders Of Giants."

WarClown drummer Keith Feulner announced the collaboration on Facebook, stating "Just finished the last song with a great friend doing guest vocals.  This is gonna be huge!  Charlie Bonnet III, can't thank you enough for taking the 4 hour drive one way to add vocals to this new WarClown album.  We are so proud to have the legend make a stamp on this record."

Although now pursuing a full time career in southern rock and roots music, Bonnet has a large history in the heavy metal genre, fronting the Nashville based band Disarray since the early 1990's.  Disarray released many records, including the Dave Brockie (GWAR) produced In The Face Of The Enemy in 2002, and the Gary Meskil (Pro-Pain) produced Edge Of My Demise in 2007.  Bonnet was also the co-manager and publicist for Steve 'Zetro' Souza's band Hatriot from 2012-2014.

"Keith jammed with me in Disarray for a number of years, and is one of the best drummers I've ever worked with" states Bonnet.  "He recently played me some of the WarClown material, and I was blown away.  The last time I got to sing metal backups was on the Hatriot Heroes Of Origin record, so this was a lot of fun.  I play a different style of music for a living now, so I appreciate the WarClown guys bringing me out of heavy metal retirement, and least for a couple minutes" he says with a laugh.

DOKKEN To Release "Return To The East Live 2016" April 20th via Frontiers Music Srl

How many people do you know that accomplished something that effectively CHANGED LIVES while they were in HIGH SCHOOL?

Our friends Morgan and Mercedes Lander didn't intend to become Heavy Metal Feminist Icons in their teens, but that is exactly what they have become.

They held their own with some of the biggest metal bands in the genre and made music as brutal as any of their male counterparts. They were RIAA certified gold and have sold MILLIONS of records since their debut 20 years ago. With plays in the millions on YouTube and Spotify, the band is even more relevant today, due to the international dialogue about women in entertainment.

The 3-Disc Set (DVD, Blu Ray and CD) is due out on 3/30/2018.  Also, look out for a 12" record of the audio portion of the release in the coming months.

ALICE IN CHAINS has announced the first run of must-see shows for 2018 – a North American headline tour that kicks off April 28th at the House of Blues in Boston. Dates are listed below and ticket info can be found HERE.

In 2016, the classic original line-up Dokken featuring: Don Dokken, George Lynch, Jeff Pilson, and Mick Brown reunited to play the world famous Loud Park Festival in Japan. Thrash metal band WarClown finishes new album with Juan Urteaga and Charlie Bonnet III

CAVE BASTARD: Metal Injection Premieres "Neo-Genesis" From Impending The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth LP

LIGHT THE TORCH (formerly known as DEVIL YOU KNOW) have released the song 'Calm Before The Storm' from their upcoming new album Revival.

Check it out here:

"'Calm Before the Storm' is just a fun song," said singer Howard Jones. "It pairs well with good friends and a road trip. We hope you'll enjoy putting it on repeat."

The band also recently started a series of webisodes about the album

Revival will be released via Nuclear Blast Entertainment on March 30. The band recently shared the song 'Die Alone', which opens the album.  Watch the video and listen

"'Die Alone' is basically a note I had written to myself a couple years ago, and it seemed to really fit the music," said frontman Howard Jones. "We are more than excited to release our album »Revival«, and we all feel it's been worth every bit of the struggle to get it done. See you all soon on the road."

The Los Angeles, CA trio — the aforementioned Jones, Francesco Artusato [guitar], and Ryan Wombacher [bass] — drew from five years together as DEVIL YOU KNOW to forge a wholly distinct path. Amidst myriad struggles, they returned from the brink under a new name.

"2016 was a really tough year for us as a band, both personally and professionally," explains Jones. "While going through some lineup changes, we were also battling some issues with the use of our band name. At the same time, I was trying to deal with the loss of my oldest brother, which really hit me hard. During that time, we just bonded like never before. We all meshed because we faced war together. We survived. At the end, we realized we were a real band and decided to make an album representing that resilience. Honestly, we came out of the dark. The name literally signifies what we went through."

"It was time for a change," the singer continues. "It was time for us to try and stretch our wings. We were really going for songs. The structuring made more sense. I was focused on melody and harmony. I really cut loose. All in all, it was the perfect storm. We had so much fun making this, because there were really no restrictions other than creating a heavy and catchy body of work."

The LIGHT THE TORCH lineup boasts one of the most esteemed pedigrees in modern heavy music. Jones spent a decade at the helm of GRAMMY® Award-nominated and gold-selling titans KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. Artusato had much-lauded stint in ALL SHALL PERISH and has attained status as a shred virtuoso.  Wombacher was a staple in BLEEDING THROUGH for well over a decade. For Revival, they are joined by EXTINCTION A.D. drummer Mike "Scuzz" Sciulara behind the kit.

Revival is available for pre-order

KNEE HIGH FOX, the adventurous Alt insanity band from Los Angeles, CA, will release their long-awaited sophomore full length studio effort Jawbreaker today!
The video for the first single “American Beauty” can be viewed at this location: com/watch?v=bjamn25sv_Y
Jawbreaker has taken the bands love for electronics, beats, rhythmic rap, alternative sounds, guitars, a lot of low end, big chorus’s, clever and honest lyrics, and created an experience of ups and downs.  Krsy Fox has always talked about her intense passion for dark cult 90’s movies like The Craft,  Jawbreaker, Foxfire, Girl Interrupted, and American Beauty.  She wanted to capture the feeling those films gave her as a young girl within the new album.  “They always effected what has inspired me and the way I looked at visuals and excepted my crazy girl feelings, and my always being a bit of an outsider, even though I’m usually the loudest person in the room” states Krsy.  With songs like “Witch” thats a wild ride into Krsy’s darker side, to deep songs like “Relapse" where she lays it all out about a toxic relationship she keeps wanting to slip back into, the new album has something for everyone.
“Jawbreaker” track listing:
1. Witch
2. Those Girls
3. Relapse
4. Jawbreaker
5. American Beauty
6. Ladylike
7. Peephole
8. Lovefool
Knee High Fox have been touring since 2014 extensively headlining and with acts like Marilyn Manson, Powerman 5000, Hed PE, Theory Of A Deadman, Orgy etc.  Jawbreaker is a game changer for Knee High Fox and will be beginning its alternative infiltration.

This summer, ARMORED SAINT will embark on a North American tour commemorating their classic Symbol Of Salvation full-length. On this special thirteen-date run, the band will perform the record in its entirety, with select shows to be recorded for a live DVD. Support will be provided by labelmates Act Of Defiance. See all confirmed dates below.
Frontman John Bush comments: "Symbol Of Salvation! Arguably ARMORED SAINT's most important record. These songs came out of us being dropped from Chrysalis Records and finding out about guitarist Dave Prichard developing Leukemia. The songs took on a much more emotional meaning than any other previous record. We wrote songs of desperation like 'Another Day' and 'Last Train Home,' experimental tunes like 'Tainted Past' and 'The Truth Always Hurts,' and classic SAINT rockers like 'Reign Of Fire,' 'Dropping Like Flies,' and the title track. After Dave passed, the band regrouped with Phil and Jeff returning as the guitar tandem. It was a family again. Dave Jerden produced the record and this marked the beginning of Joey becoming the producer of the band. It's going to be a memorable tour. Songs like 'Burning Question' and 'Spineless' we've never played live before. Come share it with us. Let's make Dave proud."

After being dropped by Chrysalis Records in 1988, ARMORED SAINT began writing for a new record and searched for a new label. During 1989, founding guitarist/songwriter Dave Prichard was diagnosed with Leukemia. In January 1990, Prichard was hospitalized for a bone marrow transplant but succumbed to the treatment, passing away on February 28th, 1990. By this time, the band was writing as a four-piece, with Dave being the sole guitarist; they had written twenty-five songs and demoed all of them.
Metal Blade Records CEO/founder Brian Slagel approached ARMORED SAINT and offered a recording deal in late spring of 1990. They regrouped with original guitarist Phil Sandoval and Jeff Duncan, who was hired as a touring guitarist during a 1989 tour with King Diamond. The recording of this new album - which would become Symbol Of Salvation - began in the winter of 1990 with producer Dave Jerdan (Alice In Chains, Janes Addiction, Red Hot Chili Peppers), and it was engineered by Brain Carlstrom (Alice In Chains, The Offspring, Rob Zombie). During recording, the band used a guitar solo from a demo track played by Dave, and included it on the song "Tainted Past."

ARMORED SAINT toured with the likes of The Scorpions, Suicidal Tendencies, Wrathchild America, Sepultura, and more, in support of Symbol Of Salvation. Now, in 2018, the band brings back these classic tracks to the live setting, for fans to enjoy once again, in honor of Dave's memory.

"All of the pain, chaos, and torment that reality brings culminate into one being..."

San Diego-based CAVE BASTARD - formed by ex/current members of Cattle Decapitation, Gutrot, Ritual Torture, Bridge Jumper, Temblad, and more - has released a new single from their impending debut LP, The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth. The unwelcoming "Neo-Genesis" makes its public debut through Metal Injection.
Unloading a brutalizing style of apocalyptic/dystopian metal, The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth was captured in October 2016 at Audio Design Studios in San Diego, recorded and mixed by legendary engine-ear, Billy Anderson (Neurosis, Brutal Truth, Cattle Decapitation) with assistant engineer Jordan Andreen, mastered at Trakworx by Justin Weis, and completed with artwork by Varises Otak.
Explore the torment of CAVE BASTARD's "Neo-Genesis" at Metal Injection
The band reports, "'Neo-Genesis' is a part of the story of the CAVE BASTARD, which is the main theme of The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth. All of the pain, chaos, and torment that reality brings culminate into one being, as the song starts with, 'Pain sensory overload, fallen victim inhumane. Shocked system electrified, mutilated with hate.' That entity then becomes a catalyst, transcending the pain it endured to unleash anguish and misery upon all; the new purveyor of a new chaos. Anything and everything succumbs to its wrath, only seeking solace in death, for the fury unleashed is magnified from what had created the CAVE BASTARD in the known beginning: 'Corrupted creation rescinding salvation. Hope is lost; deteriorate. Reduced to nothing eternal. Slipping quickly insane, left to live no more. Desiccated remains, chaos reborn.' 'Neo-Genesis' is only one piece to this story, and more will be unveiled with the release of the second album, which is already being conceptualized."
The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth will see release on LP and digital formats on March 23rd via Accident Prone; find a huge array of preorder package options and stream the track "Massacre Reaction"
CAVE BASTARD has booked several shows across Southern California in March and April, including an album release show for The Bleak Shall Devour The Earth in their hometown on April 19th, with more widespread tour actions to be announced.
3/24/2018 Unfair Oaks - Pasadena, CA w/ Ruin, Short Temper, Barrage, Lost Lands
3/31/2018 The Blvd - Los Angeles, CA w/ Vale, Arachnigod, Anshelm
4/19/2018 Soda Bar - San Diego, CA *Release Show w/ Nukem, Bad Acid Trip, Beekeeper

Hailing from the lawless dominion that is our nation's capital, GENOCIDE PACT unleashes their raging sophomore full-length and Relapse debut, Order Of Torment. Recorded by Kevin Bernsten (Full of Hell, Code Orange, Magrudergrind) at Developing Nations in Baltimore, and featuring cover art from the legendary Joe Petagno (Motörhead, Autopsy, Marduk, Pink Floyd), Order Of Torment features eight tracks of pulverizing, relentless death metal that harkens to the greats while pushing the genre to chaotic new realms of possibility. With a thick, heavy crunch that focuses on crushing groove as much as skull-splitting intensity, GENOCIDE PACT is the death metal band to watch in 2018.

Pennsylvania metal band Tallah is comprised of 5 members who share a passion for playing intense, heavy, and intricate music combined with an insane live show, unlike any other!

Influenced by bands such as Code Orange, Slipknot, Korn and Deftones, Tallah relies on the spirit of innovative metal realized through panicked guitar screams treated with industrial elements and distortion. Screaming vocals provided by YouTube sensation Justin Bonitz mixed with melodic choruses create a dreamlike vision in which the audience can live. Driving bass fills the room with deep and dirty tones that sync effortlessly with the thunderous bellows of the drums.

The energy they emit onstage challenges you to stay put and thrash about!

The band recently played two shows on the Schecter Guitar stage at NAMM 2018 and are currently booking shows in the US and internationally.

Globally renowned, chart-topping band DEVILDRIVER may be one of the most notable groups in metal, but their personal taste in music reaches far beyond heavy music. Thanks to widely lauded albums like 2005's epoch-shredding The Fury Of Our Maker's Hand, 2011's ante-upping, ultra-brutal Beast and 2016's acclaimed career peak Trust No One, the band - led by iconic vocalist Dez Fafara - are firmly established as one of the most consistent and best loved bands in modern metal. That said, in 2018, all expectations of who and what DEVILDRIVER are will be torched.
As first teased by Fafara last year, the band's upcoming full-length album of outlaw country-gone-metal anthems, Outlaws 'Til The End, will finally see its day. The highly-anticipated, monstrous collection of savage metal interpretations will be released via Napalm Records on July 6, 2018, and pre-orders are available now in multiple formats via with more format options coming soon. Merchandise such as t-shirts, long-sleeve shirts, flasks, keychains, and more are available here:
Head to Rolling Stone Country now to hear a clip of DEVILDRIVER's cover of Hank3's "Country Heroes", featuring Hank3 himself, and read all about Outlaws 'Til The End:
Outlaws 'Til The End is both a startling curveball and a ferocious statement of individuality from a band who have been a constant and effective force in the heavy metal world for the best part of two decades now. "I think real music has always gotten to me, whether it's the blues or even real Goth music like Bauhaus and Sisters Of Mercy, as well as outlaw country greats like Johnny Cash, Wayne "The Train" Hancock, and Willie Nelson," Fafara explains. "That stuff has always attracted me, and this is absolutely the real McCoy. The blues and outlaw country are what made rock n' roll. They were around before rock n' roll... and in my head, I've always heard these songs heavy."
From the opening seconds of Hank3's"Country Heroes" onward, Outlaws 'Til The End is simply one of the most invigorating records the band have made yet. More importantly, these evocative, irresistible songs have all been wholly rebuilt from the ground up, powered by the classic DEVILDRIVER sound and embellished with Fafara's unmistakable feral roar. Outlaws 'Til The End was produced, mixed and recorded with Steve Evetts (Dillinger Escape Plan, Every Time I Die, Sepultura, The Cure), with Devildriver guitarist Mike Sprietzer also lending recording talents. The album was mastered by renowned engineer Alan Douches.
Completing this unprecedented project is a host of metal and country luminaries providing unforgettable cameos: horror metal icon Wednesday13 lends his incensed rasp to George Jones' "If Drinking Don't Kill Me", 36 Crazyfists frontman Brock Lindow brings fire and soul to Steve Earle's, "Copperhead Road", and Fear Factory's Burton C. Bell helps to turn Richard Thompson's anti-war classic, "Dad's Gonna Kill Me", into a brooding gothic metal extravaganza. Meanwhile, Lamb of God members Randy Blythe and Mark Morton contribute to an exhilarating decimation of Willie Nelson's "Whiskey River" before Randy makes a second appearance on DEVILDRIVER's version of cowboy standard "Ghost Riders In The Sky"; the latter featuring the son of Johnny Cash himself.

"I knew right away that I wanted to have guests on this record, and the first guest I wanted was John Carter Cash," Fafara recalls. "I didn't want this thing to exist without John, without Hank3 or without Randy [Blythe]. Basically, there were a certain amount of guests that I definitely wanted on it, but as I kept asking people, everyone kept saying yes! Randy and Mark [Morton] are both from the country and they were immediately on board. With John, we wound up talking for two hours when we first met, all about his love of heavy metal and my love of outlaw country and my love of his dad's music. All he wanted to do was talk about metal and all I wanted to do was talk about outlaw country. It was the craziest thing."
Not only just content with a collaboration with John Carter Cash, the album also features the iconic voice of Fear, US punk rock legend Lee Ving. "Lee has a country band called Range War and when he first started in music, his mother gave him her mandolin to play, so he played country music before he ever did punk rock," Fafara notes. "I've been fortunate enough in my career to do songs with Ozzy and some of the greats, but doing a song with Lee Ving? What can I say... he's my ultimate hero in life. I had a Fear shirt on the first time I ran away from home, you know?"
Still charging forward, proudly against the grain and on the form of their lives, DEVILDRIVER have never made a record like Outlaws 'Til The End before. But then, nor has anyone else. The perfect marriage of badass country grit and neck-wrecking groove metal supremacy, it's a pistol-packing game-changer delivered by true heavy metal outlaws.
Stay tuned for more new music and videos coming soon in anticipation of Outlaws 'Til The End.

California’s MOVEMENTS have partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association to debut an emotionally charged video for “Deadly Dull”, a fan favorite off their latest album Feel Something. Directed by Max Moore, the video depicts a vivid representation of effects of Alzheimer’s disease and dementia.
“’Deadly Dull’ is a song that we felt really needed a visual aid,” says lead singer-songwriter Patrick Miranda. “The song is powerful as it is, but adding a video really helps drive the point home and make the situation more understandable. Seeing someone you love suffer from a disease that rids them of who they are is a really hard thing to experience. We felt that director Max Moore would do a perfect job of taking this song to the next level, and we couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”
To support Feel Something, the band is currently on their first headlining tour across North America, with over 60% of the dates being sold out. The tour features support from Can’t Swim, Super Whatevr, and Gleemer. Tickets can be purchased here:
