Killswitch Engage have been at it now for 17 years.  Since their debut album in 2000 the band has seemingly done it all.  They've had commercial success , played the biggest festivals, headlined all over the world, and even have won numerous music awards.

Currently KsE is on a Spring co-headlining tour with thrash legends Anthrax.  The "KILLTHRAX" tour runs through the first week of May and on April 5th made a stop in Philly at the famed Electric Factory.

Unlike the last time the band was in town (as a part of the Rock Allegiance Festival) on this night Killswitch had basically a full timeslot and used it to perform for us 17 songs that rocked the Philly fans.

Kicking off the set with "Hate By Design", the hit single off last year's album "Incarnate", was electric and almost immediately the crowd-surfers appeared!  So much power and energy from that song and in fact the entire set.  Singer Jesse Leach is such an intense singer and in person it's infectious.  Not to be overmatched in the intensity department guitarist Adam D jogs through the band's live set like a freakin' marathon runner/gymnast/Price Is Right contestant all rolled together.

So much great music in this set including "My Curse", "Alone I Stand", "This Is Absolution" and even one helluva cover of the Dio classic "Holy Diver" (video of this is to the right).

The "KILLTHRAX" tour has just started and goes on for another month.  GO CATCH THE TOUR!!!!
