HORRENDOUS'Anareta has been chosen as Decibel Magazine's Album of the Year! Issue 135 (Jan 2016) includes a full-page feature on the album in which it is stated that: "Our staff concurs that the Philly/Columbia (SC) trio's third album has not only eclipsed, but obliterated all extreme challengers for the top spot in this list." Congratulations to HORRENDOUS and Dark Descent Records for this mammoth achievement!

Among the leaders of the New Wave of Old-School Death Metal movement, Horrendous raised the bar last year with the release of their sophomore album, Ecdysis. The critically-acclaimed album was considered by many to be one of the year's most impressive releases. Decibel Magazine ranked Ecdysis 3rd on their 'Best of 2014' list and Fenriz listed the album among his favorites of the year. A year later, Horrendous have once again set a new standard for death metal with Anareta, an eight-track offering of highly-evolved and intense OSDM.

Anareta was recorded, mixed and mastered this summer at Subterranean Watchtower Studios (www.SubterraneanWatchtower.com and www.facebook.com/SubterraneanWatchtower). Cover art comes courtesy of Brian Smith.

Orillia, ON's Adrenechrome are hurtling forward like zombies with a hunger for flesh looking to create good old-fashioned rock n’ roll infused with groove and peppered with metal. The group features Chris Friesen dominating on guitar and lead vocals, Tim Kehoe who shreds guitar and haunting vocal work, Matt Copeland thrashing the drums, and Mike Van Dyk creating groovy basslines. Their name inspires a frantic, adrenaline fueled misadventure and is a direct reference to a fictional drug in the film “Fear And Loathing In Las Vegas”.

These heavy metal monsters started in 2010 and rode like the four horsemen to devour every audience they could around Canada. Their songwriting swings like an unhinged pendulum between rapid, brief works to heavy, ten-tonne brick tunes. Members are veterans of the music scene, coming from various acts like Gaswitch, Shimmy Rabbits, and The Doug Trucker Band. Live, the band is tight and strictly a “no frills” affair -- this means no make up or gimmicks, just straight-forward, kick-ass metal.

The band's upcoming album 'Tales From Adrenechrome' is due out on November 27, 2015 to follow up their 2012 debut 'Hideous Appetites' and is their most abstract, spastic, and explosive release to date. This album is established on heavy riffs, roaring drums, smooth bass lines, and wrapped up with lyrical themes that combine personal experience with fantasy, sci fi, and classic literature. This album is reserved for only those who can handle the high velocity heavy metal adventure that is Adrenechrome!

LOS ANGELES, CA - NOVEMBER 23, 2015 - Rock and Roll Hall of Fame InducteesGreen Day today announced that they will release a limited Black Friday vinyl edition of their two-time Grammy® Award-winning album American Idiot on November 27, 2015. The special release will be available exclusively at independent record stores in the United States. Find the store closest to you at www.recordstoreday.com.The 5,000 limited edition run will include a red and black LP (Disc 1) and a white and black LP (Disc 2).
American Idiot is Green Day's seventh studio album. Originally released on September 21, 2004 by Reprise Records, the album was a beautiful snapshot of American culture post 9/11 as it tackled rage, love, politics, the media and more.  A week after its release the heralded album debuted at Number One on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart and in 19 countries around the world.  It has sold over 15 million copies worldwide and produced five Platinum singles, including "American Idiot", "Boulevard of Broken Dreams", "Holiday", "Wake Me Up When September Ends", and "Jesus of Suburbia". "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" created radio history when it climbed to Number One at six radio formats simultaneously.  Green Day would go on to play stadiums and take home multiple MTV Video Music Awards, Kerrang and Billboard Awards, as well as an ASCAP Award, a Kids Choice Award and more.  In 2005, the album won a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album and the following year took home a Grammy Award for Record of the Year for "Boulevard of Broken Dreams."   It also spawned a wildly successful Tony Award-winning play that launched at the Berkley Repertory Theatre before spending a year at the St. James Theatre on Broadway and then toured the world.

NEW YORK -Platinum selling metal act DROWNING POOL have released an all new single titled "By The Blood," exclusively viaLoudwire.com"We're excited as hell to get our brand new single out to everyone!" says guitarist CJ Pierce. "Back to the core sound you know from Drowning Pool! Crank it up! ." The single made its radio debut yesterday on SiriusXM's Octane. Drowning Pool will release Hellelujah on February 5, 2016 via Entertainment One Music. The new LP will be the first since signing with the label earlier this summer.

"By The Blood" will also be featured during World Series of Fighting 25 taking place TONIGHT. This is an eight man, one night tournament for the top contender spot for the World Lightweight Title taking place at 11PM eastern / 8PM pacific on NBC Sports @ Comerica Theatre in Phoenix, AZ.

The band is also revealing the cover art designed by world renowned artist Brian Mercer (CHRIS CORNELL, LAMB OF GOD, HIGH ON FIRE). Hellelujah will be the follow up to Resilience, released in 2013. This time the band tapped renowned producer Jason Suecof (AUGUST BURNS RED, DEICIDE, DEATH ANGEL). Jason was the perfect man to capture the blend of metallic roots and instantly memorable choruses, riffs, and wickedly upfront lyrical assaults.

Drowning Pool have beaten the darkness and now they celebrate life on life’s terms. The core trio of C.J. Pierce (guitar), Stevie Benton (bass) and Mike Luce (drums) mine hardship, struggle and disappointment to emerge victorious each time, crafting empowering hard rock anthems. Drowning Pool songs conjure emotions that deeply connect with those who persevere against the odds and sacrifice to survive, and their music transcends boundaries of race, class and lifestyle as well, resonating with people from all walks of life who look to music to get them through life’s challenges.

Jason Moreno’s powerful vocals enabled him to quickly master Drowning Pool’s dense catalog when he became the band’s frontman in 2012. From his reverent delivery of the late Dave Williams mosh-pit ready lyrics in the ubiquitous signature hit "Bodies” to his powerful take on Top 5 Active Rock hits like “Step Up” from Desensitized (2004), “37 Stitches” from Full Circle (2007), and “Feel Like I Do” (Drowning Pool, 2010).
Track List:
1. Push
2. By The Blood
3. Drop
4. Hell To Pay
5. We Are The Devil
6. Snake Charmer
7. My Own Way
8. Goddamn Vultures
9. Another Name
10. Sympathy Depleted
11. Stomping Ground
12. Meet The Bullet
13. All Saints Day
Hellelujah is unfiltered and uncompromising, representing a band free to say, play, and do what they please, thanks to the unending support of their fans. Their shared loyalty, drive, and passion resulted in what Moreno describes as a “bad attitude record,” an album that pulls no punches with inspired confrontation.

Drowning Pool songs conjure emotions that deeply connect with those who persevere against the odds and sacrifice to survive, whether it’s a military soldier serving overseas, or a blue-collar family trying to make ends meet. Their music transcends boundaries of race, class and lifestyle as well, resonating with people from all walks of life who look to music to get them through life’s challenges. The band’s Texas-sized crunch and gregarious, charismatic personalities catapulted them to platinum status and hard rock royalty in the early 2000s alongside contemporaries like Disturbed, Godsmack, and Slipknot. They’ve toured with Ozzy Osbourne. They regularly perform for U.S. Troops, traveling as far as the war zones of the Middle East to the outposts of Southeast Asia. They personally encouraged then-Senator Barack Obama to push through the Lane Evans Health Act, which improved healthcare for veterans.

Big sonic slabs of muscular power with a taste of the dark melodies of post-grunge remain Drowning Pool’s stock and trade. Their music is an unapologetic celebration of life’s joy and pain, able to swiftly maneuver between defiant declarations of resistance. Each distinctive era of the band’s history is represented onstage, where the band bashes through an arsenal of anthems all delivered with precision strength. The Hellelujah songs (with more contributions from all four members than ever) pulse with the power of all that’s come before and a reinvigorated hunger for the future. Drowning Pool celebrate the past while firmly focused on the present, coalescing into a brightly lit artistic future.
Drowning Pool is: C.J. Pierce – Stevie Benton – Mike Luce – Jasen Moreno

(NEW YORK, N.Y.): Punk rockers Anti-Flag have released a digital acoustic album, titled Live Acoustic at 11th Street Records, today, November 20.

The performance was recorded during the Punk Rock Bowling extravaganza this past spring. So if you weren't able to attend PRB in Las Vegas, you can vicariously enjoy the experience of the band performing at Sin City's 11th Street Records via this album.

"The songs on American Spring pushed us into territory uncharted," said A-F bassist Chris No. 2. "I felt immense struggle for personal self-worth and self identity writing these songs. Making the moment of its release something incredibly scary and nerve wracking. This show at 11th Street Records was not only us unveiling the record for the first time but of us playing these songs for people other than ourselves for the first time. The importance of independent record stores like 11th Street cannot be understated — a forum where ideas can be shared, where outsiders of the status quo can find solace. The dissemination of information outside of pop culture. To partner with this shop in Las Vegas and have attendees of Punk Rock Bowling from all over the globe made this one of the coolest and powerful moments in our bands life. This collection of songs is a document of that moment."

1. "Fabled World"
2. "This Is the End"
3. "Broken Bones"
4. "Brandenburg Gate"
5. "1915"
6. "One Trillion Dollars"
7. "Without End"
8. "Turncoat"
9. "Die for the Government"
The album is available via iTunes and Spotify

ANVIL to Release New Album Anvil is Anvil February 26th On SPV/Steamhammer

Anvil is Anvil!A self-confident statement. A band philosophy. And what's more: a life motto. Anvil is Anvilthat's the title of their latest album. And the name says it all: an unambiguous, uncompromising recording, typical of this band. At the same time it's fresh, occasionally surprising and generally exciting through and through. A stalwart metal manifesto by a band who stand for authenticity and credibility like few others in this fast-lived business."We're sometimes criticized for never changing," guitarist and vocalist Lipsexplains. "But why should we change something we're renowned for? Isn't it much more important to stay faithful to yourself? To do what you do best? The idea behind our latest album is: we are what we are, and that's how it's going to stay!" For all Anvil fans, this is the best news of the year. And the all-important date for 2016 has already been scheduled: Anvil is Anvil will be released by Steamhammer/SPV on  February 26, 2016. So be sure to mark the day in your diary!
Anvil is Anvilpresents Lips, drummer Robb Reiner and their new bassistChris Robertson in a thoroughly magic metal moment. Lips"Time will tell whether this album is the absolute pinnacle of our career. But I would already refer to it as ´gaining the momentum`. The year 2013 was a perfect new start for Anvil. We were touring, went on to write the new material, toured again and returned to compose some more. During that time, the new line-up gelled into a real unit. The arrival of Chris was just as significant for us as the film back in 2008. He helped me enormously with my vocal lines, which is why my voice sounds better than ever on stage and also in the studio."
The same could be said of the new material. Anvil is Anvil sounds all of one piece and presents the band's amazing diversity, combined with their conscious loyalty to the compositional DNA of their own classics. ´Die For A Lie` for example sounds like a contemporary version of ´Jackhammer` and the stomping ´Runaway Train` features the same directives as ´Smoking Green`, only based on Kudlow's present-day maturity. "I practically graduated from the Bob Marlette University," the Anvil frontman praises the American producer with whom the band recorded their 2011 release, Juggernaut Of Justice and Hope In Hell (2013). "Bob showed me how to write songs which really mean something. So when I started to compose this time around, I was perfectly groomed."
Speaking of which: Anvil is Anvil was produced by Martin ´Mattes` Pfeiffer(U.D.O.) at the Redhead 4 Studios in Pulheim near Cologne, Germany. For Lips, whose family is Jewish, as is drummer Robb Reiner's, it was a special moment to work with a German producer in a German studio. "There's a song on Anvil is Anvil that's called ´Forgive Don´t Forget`, which says everything about our attitude. Nobody is guilty of anything that happened before their time, especially since Germany has critically examined and come to terms with its own past. Anvil has always been welcome in Germany, even during difficult phases. When we think of Germany, we think of friends, not war criminals." Lips calls himself an idealist who takes a clear political stance with songs such as ´Gun Control` and ´Die For A Lie` and also denounces the ambiguous role of the church. He says: "Religion is frequently used to involve people in military conflict. Hate in the name of God - that's just wrong!"
Yet Anvil is Anvil not only touches on sensitive issues but also documents the band's lust for life, their dynamic musical style and their absolute down-to-earthiness. When Lips delivers the line "Ace of Spades and the joker is wild" on ´It´s Your Move` with a surprisingly realistic Motörhead timbre, it proves his sense of humour and is an homage at the same time ("close friends with Lemmy since 1981, he is definitely part of the family"). And when Anvilinvite their fans to the studio to join the choir on ´Daggers And Rum`, it only shows the closeness between the musicians and their fans. "We've never recorded a pirate metal shanty such as ´Daggers & Rum` before. I'm sure this number will go down well on the upcoming tour."
Regarding the cover Robb Reiner ads: "This time around,it was suggested I paint the cover art for the release by brother Lips, after I had come up with the concept and showing him study sketches drawn out. The simple straight to the point composition was much fun to render on canvas in oil. I spent about 6 weeks to complete it"
The new album "Anvil Is Anvil" will be released on February 26th, 2016(worldwide ex Japan) as a digipak version (+1 bonus track and poster), 2LP gatefold clear version and download.
Track Listing:
1. Daggers And Rum 5:26

AT THE GATES post new video clip for "The Night Eternal"

Additional tour dates announced
After successful touring runs in South America and Australia as well as festival dates in both Japan and Europe, Swedish melodic Death Metal pioneers AT THE GATES continue to make waves with their highly acclaimed comeback album At War With Reality, released at the end of last year via Century Media Records.

AT THE GATES are now launching another promotional video clip, this time for the special album-closing song "The Night Eternal". Once again created by Costin Chioreanu, who was responsible for the challenging artwork concept of At War With Reality as well as the creation of the animated video for the song "Heroes And Tombs" and the live-footage clip for "The Book Of Sand (The Abomination)", this video features his most in-depth and challenging animation work so far.

Check it out "The Night Eternal" here: https://youtu.be/po0idn8POlg

The band commented the following: "The Night Eternal" is one of the absolute strongest and also emotionally challenging songs on the new record. It is a personal favourite and always gives us an enormous touching feedback when we play it live. Therefore it was a no-brainer for us to choose this song when Costin approached us about the idea of another animated video. This time he has, once again, stunned us with his amazing efforts to portray the emotional aspects of the music and lyrics of our songs. His interpretation of our material has always inspired us to rethink and re-evaluate our own creations, and therefore something new comes out of the project every time he is involved." - Tomas Lindberg & At The Gates, November 2015

Costin Chioreanu adds:"The story of "The Night Eternal" speaks about the dark side of human nature and about the tragedy of living now, in a moment when any possible tool for hiding it becomes futile. The Night Eternal is in us, The Night Eternal is what we became, guiding our spiritual evolution using a wrong map, provided by a wrong society. The victim remains lost in a dream of constant need without any perspective of fulfillment."

CORROSION OF CONFORMITY will enter the studio late this Winter/early Spring with longtime producer John Custer. Custer has recorded such prior COC classics as DeliveranceWiseblood,America's Volume Dealer and In The Arms Of God. The as-of-yet-untitled-album will mark the band's studio reunion with vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan and their first full-length record together since 2005. A fall 2016 release is expected.
CORROSION OF CONFORMITY emerged from hibernation as a trio and released 2012's self-titled album and 2014's IX to wide acclaim, but many hardcore fans have been eagerly and patiently awaiting the return of Pepper Keenan.
The band were originally an influential hardcore punk/heavy metal crossover act before reaching critical success with a then new lineup on 1991's Blind album. That trajectory continued with wider appeal as Keenan took over as the group's primary vocalist on Deliverance (1994) and Wiseblood(1996). These two recordings in particular fused the raw energy of their previous albums, with some great strides forward in classic rock inspired songwriting and more spacious production and execution. Since then the band has often been copied but rarely equaled. This juggernaut gained mass and momentum with relentless touring alongside such greats Metallica, Clutch, Eyehategod and many more. Eventually, following the release of In the Arms Of God in 2005, Keenan decided to focus all his energy on his hometown band Down... until now.

Woodroe Weatherman - guitar
Mike Dean - bass, vocals
Reed Mullin - drums, vocals

PRIMAL FEAR Return With A Storming New Studio Album

Rulebreaker - Out On Frontiers in January!

Frontiers Music Srl is pleased to announce the worldwide release of the newPRIMAL FEAR studio
album Rulebreaker on January 29, 2016! Available in CD, deluxe CD/DVD and - in collaboration with Soulfood Music in Germany - the album is also available on vinyl and a special super-limited vinyl edition version featuring an eagle head on the vinyl. Rulebreaker combines the strongest PRIMAL FEAR moments ever, with a well-balanced typicalPRIMAL FEAR trademark riff-vibe, crushing songs and some very ambitious musical journeys.  Pre-orders for Rulebreaker will be unveiled soon.

Singer Ralf Scheepers says: "We have so much energy, fantastic melodies and a hell of a drum groove on each and every song, there is no doubt that the fans will love it as much as I do! And again we have achieved to combine bombastic and atmospheric orchestral sounds with soaring heavy metal riffs and licks, together with ear splitting screams and also emotional sequences. We have kept the promise of being a heavy metal band with all the trademarks for which people love PRIMAL FEAR".

After the massive Delivering The Black world tour, PRIMAL FEAR started the songwriting in spring 2015 and recorded at Hansen Studios in Denmark, with producer Mat Sinner and engineer Jacob Hansen (Volbeat, Pretty Maids, Amaranthe). Mat Sinner adds: "We learned a lot during the Delivering The Black sessions and the following world tour. We tried to put this know-how and all the positive energy into the songs and production of Rulebreaker. Working the second time with Jacob Hansen and even recording in his studio, gave another dimension to our sound, plus the recording comeback of founding member Tom Naumann was the right move".

Classic and ultra-fresh PRIMAL FEAR have created riff-rockers like the album opener "Angels Of Mercy," and groove monsters "The End Is Near" and "Bullets And Tears" which hit the bulls-eye from the beginning. The album features another untamed speed killer "In Metal We Trust" and the metal anthem and title track "Rulebreaker". The melodic and unique ballad "The Sky Is Burning" shows a different side of PRIMAL FEAR with a new vibe and a monster chorus. And of course, PRIMAL FEAR included again an 11-minute plus Prog Metal tour de force entitled "We Walk Without Fear", spiced with big orchestral arrangements and complex sound designs.

PRIMAL FEAR are about to release what is definitely their strongest album ever: Rulebreaker!  Don't miss the German Metal Commando on their worldwide tour in 2016!

"All hail Ghost and its masterwork, Meliora." Metal Injection
"Ghost is back cracking skulls." Noisey

Papa Emeritus III and his nameless ghouls have spent the past two months in North America delivering their satanic melodies to audiences across the continent as part of their 'Black To The Future' headlining tour, selling out rituals in New York City, Los Angeles, Chicago, Seattle, Philadelphia, Detroit, Portland, San Antonio, Denver, Orlando, and Columbus along the way. The Philadelphia Inquirer praised the live show for its "zealously contagious mix of creepy power-balladry and clarion-clean epic rockers" while Toronto Now declared, "Papa and his five nameless ghouls hit us with back-to-back gems that sounded pristine and powerful."  LA Record echoed the sentiment, complimenting the band's "evil brand of hook-driven hard rock." The procession wraps up tonight at The North Park Theatre in San Diego, CA.
Ghost released their second album INFESTISSUMAM on April 16th, 2013 via Loma Vista Recordings. The 10-song offering was produced by Grammy® Award winning producer Nick Raskulinecz (Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Alice in Chains) in Nashville, TN and debuted at #1 on the iTunes Rock Album Chart. SPIN called the album, "one of the most anticipated heavy metal albums of 2013" and Pitchfork praised its "addictive as sin" hooks. Rolling Stone described their sound as "somewhere between Mastodon and Metallica, with a heavy dose of Swedish synth mixed in." In November of 2013, the band released If You Have Ghost, a five track EP recorded and produced by Dave Grohl, including cover versions of songs by Roky Erickson, ABBA, Army of Lovers, and Depeche Mode. Ghost have toured the U.S. Extensively and appeared at various music festivals across the country, including Coachella, Lollapalooza, and Rock on the Range.

SiriusXM Radio’s Octane Premieres First Radio Single, “Impossible,” Sunday, Nov. 1

Lacey Launches Instagram Cover Art Reveal Contest

Three years after amicably parting ways with the Platinum-selling, Grammy-nominated Flyleaf, Lacey Sturmis independently releasing her highly anticipated solo debut, Life Screams, in early 2016 on FOLLOWSPOT Records with The Fuel Music distribution. The first single from this self-produced set of urgent, anthemic and lyrically-timely rock, “Impossible,” debuts exclusively on SiriusXM’s Octane (channel 37) Sunday, Nov. 1, at 1:00 pm EST, and goes immediately into rotation thereafter. On Nov. 6, the single will be available on iTunes, Spotify and Amazon, and goes to rock radio for adds Nov. 9.

“Impossible” screams the return of the voice and songwriter who delivered rock anthems like “Again,” “All Around Me,” “I’m So Sick” and “Fully Alive” to the top of the retail and radio charts. The debut solo single from Lacey blasts out the optimistic chorus: “Every morning I see another miracle / I can't believe I'm living the impossible / We are the sign and we are the wonder / Another day of living the impossible.”

“I was listening to the radio one day and I said to myself, ‘If I hear one more song telling people to kill themselves and go to hell, I’m going to have to put a record out!’” exclaims Lacey. “I just think it would be a good thing to have a voice in the mix of all the hopelessness that actually gives you a light at the end of the tunnel; a voice that’s still honest about the pain and struggle, but can also scream, ‘Hey, wake up and be alive because there’s hope!’”

Approaching her latest creative phase with newfound perspective and appreciation, Lacey adds, “I really started to value my relationships and the people around me. We started as a group of artists in our hometown of Pittsburgh and Life Screams was kind of an accident.”

Out of this new artist community, Lacey’s live band organically formed and features her husband, Josh Sturm (guitars), as well as Tom Gascon (drums) and Ben Hull (bass). Together, they have already performed for crowds in the tens of thousands and are booked for major rock festivals in 2016.

While music fans wait for the tour dates to be announced, Lacey engaged her extensive social community on an Instagram scavenger hunt yesterday for a cover art reveal contest. One piece of the puzzle was featured on Lacey’s Instagram while eight additional square pieces of the new cover were hidden across Instagram’s platform. The first one to find and stitch together the nine images, tagging the cover #LIFESCREAMS, will receive a signed copy of Lacey's audiobook, The Reason.

(New York, NY) – UK metal band While She Sleeps has announced they will be joining Bullet For My Valentine and Asking Alexandria on the British Invasion tour. The band will be opening for both bands on the North American tour starting February 2nd through March 7th. Watch the band’s announcement video HERE.

While She Sleeps recently released the music video for their title track “Brainwashed”. Watch the video HERE.

The band will be on tour supporting their sophomore album Brainwashed, which was recorded by Carl Bown (Trivium), mixed by Colin Richardson (Bullet For My Valentine, As I Lay Dying) and mastered by Grammy Award winner Ted Jensen. The album is available on iTunes and Google Play. Buy Brainwashed this week digitally for $7.99, normally $9.99.
Sheffield, England’s While She Sleeps have been turning heads ever since their EP release The North Stands For Nothing (2010), and their presence in the rock and metal scene has grown ever stronger since the release of their debut studio album This Is The Six (2012).  Their debut album charted at #2 in the UK Rock & Metal Albums Chart and in support the band stormed the live scene, performing at festivals such as Reading and Leeds, Bestival, Rock Am Ring, Rock Im Park, Greenfield, Graspop, Summerbreeze, Soundwave Australia and the US Vans Warped Tour.  In 2014 the band played the main stage at Download Festival and toured the rest of the year with Crossfaith and In Flames.  While She Sleeps have battled back to peak fighting form after work on their sophomore album (Brainwashed) was halted when lead vocalist Lawrence "Loz" Taylor was forced to seek career-saving surgery on his vocal chords in 2014.
Brainwashed’s fifteen songs are a terrifying force to be reckoned with, a barrage of belligerent sound that straddles and combines a variety of genres the band would prefer you to just call “alternative rock”. Musically, it’s a sophisticated step up from their debut full-length, one that’s catchy and confrontational in equal measure. More involved and intricate than anything they’ve done before, each song is a master craft in complex yet accessible writing, layer after layer of sound pummelling both your synapses and your heartstrings.

While She Sleeps is Lawrence "Loz" Taylor (vocals), Aaran McKenzie (bass), Adam Savage (drums), Sean Long (guitar / vocals), Mat Welsh (guitar / vocals).  The band is managed Craig Jennings, Matt Ash and Rosie Jennings for Raw Power Management and represented for touring by Josh Kline at United Talent Agency.

The magical UK supergroup that is The Darkness are currently on their North American Blast of Our Kind tour in support of fourth album Last of Our Kind - released June 2nd via Kobalt Label Services.  Last of Our Kind's title track features audio clips from over 500 Darkness fans, 15 of whom make a special appearance in the brand new video: http://bit.ly/1VN9qfc.

Last of Our Kind is an album of unparalleled beauty and power bursting with exhilarating riffs, magnificent melodies and very high voices - as you would expect of these rock mega-gods. Rolling Stone exalts “their sound remains perfectly suited for the biggest stages in the world,” Playboy raves they “deliver the thunder,” Consequence of Sound effuses that the album “shakes the Earth with pumping fervor” and Baeble Music rhapsodizes ”The Darkness are primed to continue their campaign of world domination.”

Last of Our Kind is the meaty and impassioned follow-up to 2012’s Hot Cakes, which saw the band reunited having enjoyed a well-publicized and well-deserved hiatus. As distinguished guests of Def Leppard, The Darkness destroyed Download Festival in 2011, then waved goodbye to their loved ones and toured planet Earth for over 18 months.  They rounded off 2013 with a celebratory tour marking the 10th Anniversary of their legendary debut album, Permission to Land, which features the classics “I Believe In a Thing Called Love” and “Get Your Hands Off My Woman.”

The first KORN album was released on October 11, 1994. To celebrate its 20th anniversary, the Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum hard rock innovatorsannounced today (10/13) they will release a limited edition 300-page hard cover photo bookKorn: Est. 1994,on Tuesday, October 27, that includes images from two decades of archives paired with brand new notes, stories and commentary from band members. The book will give fans unlimited access into a career that includes 11 seminal releases, countless sold-out shows, and 35 million albums sold worldwide.
Fans can pre-order the photo book exclusively via Pledge Music for $55 (with adeluxe package available for $90 that includes the photo book and a limited-edition litho print of the band's debut album cover) up until Tuesday, October 20 and then the book will be available at kornmerch.com from release day, October 27. All fan pre-orders via Pledge Music will be shipped on Wednesday, October 21. Additionally, the book will be available for purchase at the last seven tour dates (Dallas, TX on October 20 through Oakland, CA on October, 30) on their current fall tour. Full tour itinerary below.

The 20th anniversary shows, which started in 2014, were so well-received that the band--Jonathan Davis (vocals),  James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass) and Ray Luzier (drums)--wanted to bring this iteration of the live show into an intimate setting for the core fanbase. The band's month-long tour around the U.S., during which they're performing their self-titled debut album in its entirety, wraps up October 30 in Oakland, CA. At each show, fans get to experience KORN at an intimate venue, two decades later.

KORN's self-titled debut album, released in May, 1994, has been heralded byRolling Stone as "...the most important metal album of the last 20 years." Produced by Ross Robinson, the critically acclaimed album features singles "Blind," "Shoots and Ladders," "Clown" and "Need To." With little mainstream support, Davis' dark and disturbing lyrics alongside the band's new and unique hyper-aggressive soundtrack, KORN went on to sell over two million albums worldwide.

WHORE PAINT to Release New Album Ultra Sound November 27
Rhode Island Noise Rock Power Trio Throws Down on New LP
"raw, unapologetic, unbridled power...It’s kind of hard not to want to hang with (read: want to be like) these ladies." - BUST
WHORE PAINT L to R: Hilary Jones, Meredith Stern and Rebecca Mitchell

Celebrated Providence, Rhode Island underground rock band WHORE PAINT will release its new album, Ultra Sound, on November 27 via Translation Loss Records. Boasting a powerful sound the trio describes as "a Riff Rock / No Wave / Crooner Shred hybrid", WHORE PAINT creates unapologetically wild primal dark rock that lunges and jerks with a fiery post-punk spirit. Recorded at RI's Machines With Magnets studios (Battles, Empty Flowers, Six Finger Satellite), Ultra Sound is the follow-up to the band's 2013 LP, Swallow My Bones, a recording that was hailed as "mind melting" by The Big Takeover.

WHORE PAINT -- Hilary Jones (guitar), Meredith Stern (drums) and Rebecca Mitchell(vocals) -- formed in 2010 when Mitchell and Stern were working at as220, aProvidence non-profit community arts center. Jones, who holds a PhD in Behavioral Science Psychology with a focus in Gender and Multiculturalism is the Executive Director of "Girls Rock! RI", where Mitchell also teaches and serves on the board. Working with young girls and music, and previously as a sexual violence prevention educator, Jonesfound a need for alternative examples for young women. "By portraying power in our music and performance, we are hoping to provide an alternative example to the current script that girls are experiencing in the rest of culture,” says Jones.

Citing shared influences including the likes of Nick Cave, Lydia Lunch, Danzig, the Golden Girls, Girls Rock! students and Dolly Parton (“Anybody that thinks they have to swear and act like a dick on stage to get noticed needs to just meditate on Dolly for a few hours,” Mitchell notes), the band released its first EP, Menarchy, in 2011 to rousing response. But it was the group's 2013 full-length, Swallow My Bones, that fully galvanized the trio; a complex eight song journey that has been likened to "a ship ride in the middle of the night on the open sea...dark, beautiful, and haunting".

We find ourselves aligned in many ways: ideologically, aesthetically, politically, and musically," states Mitchell. "Being women is one of many things we have in common. It basically rules. Now, with the impending release of Ultra SoundWHORE PAINT is set to deliver its strongest statement of intent to date. The record is a furious recording that delivers the same effects as the band's searing live sets: domination and devastation of its audience, leaving mouths agape, eardrums split and ideologies flexed.
   Track listing:

     2.) Locked in Water
     3.) Dogs

About September Mourning:

September Mourning has just recorded her debut EP. It tells a story in 6 songs, an epic tale of “heartbreak, loss, pain, joy, love, redemption, but most of all, courage…” Produced by Sahaj Ticotin, September Mourning revives the concept of rock star meets superhero. If Marilyn Manson and X-Men's Storm had a kid, it would be September Mourning, who also cites influences as varied as Paramore, Motionless in White, David Bowie, and My Chemical Romance.

“For me, the project is a story, a theatrical art piece,” September explains. “Music is the backbone, but for this to work, it has to include the imagery and the narrative all symbiotically linked into the whole. Music taps into your innermost being. There’s something very intimate and personal about it.”

The character of September Mourning is a human-reaper hybrid, who feels the need to give some human souls a second chance, and thus toys with Fate. To expound on this narrative, September is working with iconic comic book artist Marc Silvestri, who started out on the original X-Men comics and went on to form Top Cow Productions (Witchblade, The Darkness). Together, they are putting together the story of September Mourning in graphic form, to accompany, and enhance the musical message.

Having toured with Marilyn Manson, September Mourning has already built up an impressive fan base, which she calls her “Children of Fate,” constantly encouraging them to have “the courage to embrace their passion… to allow yourself to follow your heart and not be a slave to your fears. To know that the only boundaries that exist in our lives are the ones we allow.”

DIE CHOKING Leaks "Millirem" Via Bloody-Disgusting; Band Embarks On Escape The Pope Tour As III LP Nears Release Through The Compound Recs

Another vicious portion of antagonized grindcore vengeance from DIE CHOKING is today rammed down the public's collective throat courtesy of Bloody-Disgusting, as the massive horror culture site premieres "Millirem," the opening track from the trio's rapidly approaching III debut LP.
DIE CHOKING will also embark on a Northeastern blast of tour dates this week, now dubbed, Escape The Pope 2015, as this pontiff character invades the region making daily life insufferable for all nonbelievers dwelling near several major cities, including the band's hometown of Philadelphia.
DIE CHOKING's III --recorded at the renowned Studio 4 (Lauryn Hill, Blacklisted, Cop Problem) with producer Will Yip and mastered by Brad Boatright (Nails, Integrity, Full Of Hell) at Audiosiege -- is a record stripped of overproduction and performed with devastating efficiency, with no samples or triggers utilized in the recording and mixing process, resulting in some of the densest grindcore ever captured, and one of the year's most unfuckwithable releases. With III now less than three weeks from its initial street date via Earsplit's DIY sect, The Compound Recs, the violent album-opening "Millirem" is delivered as an appropriate warning shot as to what listeners should expect from the additional ten tracks III beholds. It's a blistering, whiplash-inducing beatdown of immeasurable proportions, as described by founding bassist/vocalist Paul Herzog, "This song represents an uncontrolled outburst of radiation at an instant of birth or death. Pulsation. Particles. Pre-existence. I have a rabid obsession with puking out waves of aural energy." As per the fearless scribes at Bloody-Disgusting, the track discharges, "just over 90 seconds of pure sensory assault, featuring blistering drums, raging vocals, and a wall of distorted guitars, all combining to ensure maximum face melting power."
Blaze yourself to nothingness with DIE CHOKING's "Millirem" at Bloody-Disgusting right fucking HERE.
The ongoing III campaign has also yielded "Dwell" through Noisey RIGHT HERE, "The Prince Of Population" via Decibel HERE and "Death's Waveform" at Cvlt Nation HERE.
III will see digital release on October 8th and the vinyl on October 23rd. A 100-copy limited pressing exclusive to The Compound Recs in an A Side/B Side black-base Two-Blue Splatter is availableHERE, and the Blues Of The Mighty Haze and Blue & Bone Splatter Milky Clear pressings available through DIE CHOKING right HERE. A CD version will see co-release between Polish extreme propaganda specialists, Selfmadegod Records and The Compound at the turn of the year for the band's first European tour in February.
DIE CHOKING, a band continually performing live, will take it to the next level in the coming weeks, with their Escape The Pope 2015 Tour, which begins this Thursday, September 24th -- sees the band scathing Providence, Worcester, Manchester, Washington DC and Philadelphia -- the last show on the 30th. Along the way they shall shred with the likes of Today Is The Day, Abigail Williams, Empty Vessels, ACxDC, Ramlord, Grizzor and more.
III-based album release tour begins on October 22nd -- one day after the vinyl version of the record is officially available DIY-style -- which sees DIE CHOKING storming again into the Midwest, then out to the West Coast for the first time before swinging back home. Once back on the East Coast again, the rampage continues, including two record release shows, a return headlining show in Brooklyn and a spot at the fourth South Jersey Metal Fest, performing with the likes of Mother Brain, Grin & Bear It, Carved Up, Rivers Of Nihil, Surgeon and more.
The band's first European tour in February will correspond with the co-release of III on CD, handled by The Compound Recs. and Selfmadegod Records.

*SUPERJOINT headlining show
Now featuring Philp H. Anselmo (Down, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Pantera et al), guitarists Kevin Bond (Christ Inversion, Artimus Pyledriver et al) and Jimmy Bower (Down, Eyehategod), drummer José Manuel Gonzalez Jr. (Warbeast, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals) and bassist Stephen Taylor (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Wovenhand, 16 Horsepower), SUPERJOINTchurns out a debaucherous crossover of hardcore punk and metal and unleashed two critically-lauded full-lengths - 2002's Use Once And Destroy and 2003's Lethal Dose Of American Hatred - before taking hiatus in 2005.

SUPERJOINT's latest expedition follows the band's wildly successful It Takes Guts Summer takeover. In a live review of their New Orleans performance, Whereyat.com commended the band's signature, "straight-up, no-frills, hardcore rock," and, "a very spirited, and just plain fun, rock n' roll show," further issuing of the set, "Infamous frontman Phil Anselmo, who needs no introduction, came out gutturally screaming in a way that I haven't personally heard him do in a long time. It was primal and painful; full of incredible energy and vigor... They played their best songs and had the whole audience singing along to every word, especially 'Everyone Hates Everyone,'... and 'Fuck Your Enemy.'" On their Cincinnati stop, Full Metal Rock relayed, "The band... came out brutalizing the crowd with Anselmo's growling harsh lyrics and the pounding rhythmic metal sound the band deals out. Jimmy Bower and Kevin Bond were on top of their game producing shrieking and wailing guitars matched with the thundering rhythm section of Stephen Taylor on bass and José Gonzales pounding on the drums. With SUPERJOINT favorites like, 'Everyone Hates Everyone,' 'The Introvert' and 'Fuck Your Enemy,' fans were pounding their fists and banging their heads in unison..."

MONSTER MAGNET Premiere New Song and Lyric Video

"Watch Me Fade" via Decibel Magazine's "Deciblog"

Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux) out October 9th on Napalm Records

Dave Wyndorf and his henchmen seemingly had the time of their lives when they completely rearranged and boosted Last Patrol 2014 and christened itMilking the Stars: A Re-imagining of Last Patrol!

Now MONSTER MAGNET go back even further to 2010 and theirMastermind album. Even if you know the album inside and out you won`t be prepared in the slightest for the trip that is Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux): just think of the beast Apocalypse Now turned into in its Redux form. Familiar elements drift by and are swallowed whole by thundering psych orgies - Wyndorf often focuses on a singular song fragment and turns it into his ride to total Nirvana. Go look for your daily dose of average rock elsewhere: this is the mindfuck of the year!

Decibel Magazine's "Deciblog" is hosting an exclusive premiere of the band's lyric video for the song "Watch Me Fade".  View the video along with a brand new interview with MONSTER MAGNET leader Dave Wyndorf  HERE.

" 'Watch Me Fade' features one of my favorite musical combinations: heavy, old school organ and fuzz guitar. When I hear that sound I want to sing like some mad preacher. The lyrics started out as a love song but wound up being a paranoid rant about living in the 21st century. I'm sure somebody out there can relate, and ... it's only 3 minutes and 6 seconds which has to be some kind of record for MONSTER MAGNET. Rock on," says Wyndorf of the track.

The first single "Mastermind '69" is available as an audio stream HERE.

Cobras and Fire (The Mastermind Redux) will be released on Napalm Records October 9th.  Beginning today, all pre-orders of the albums on iTunes will receive two instant-grat tracks.  The first is "Mastermind 69" and the second song is "Watch Me Fade".  Pre-order your copy on iTunes HERE.

It's the Beginning of THE END.
It started nearly five decades ago with a crack of thunder, a distant bell ringing and then that monstrous riff that shook the earth.  The heaviest rock sound ever heard.
In that moment Heavy Metal was born, created by a young band from Birmingham, England barely out of their teens.
Now it ENDS, the final tour by the greatest Metal Band of all time, BLACK SABBATH.  Ozzy Osbourne, Tony Iommi and Geezer Butlerclose the final chapter in the final volume of the incredible BLACK SABBATH story.

BLACK SABBATH's farewell tour, THE END, begins on January 20, 2016 and it promises to surpass all previous tours with their most mesmerizing production ever.

Canadian cult metal act ANVIL is back! Striving to bypass the labels that have stood between the band and fans for years, ANVIL is creating their new record Anvil Is Anvil with a direct-to-fan approach in mind. Anvil Is Anvil will be their most potent yet, and feature guitarist/vocalist Steve ‘Lips’ Kudlow, drummer Robb Reiner, and new bassist Chris Robertson in top form. Featuring no concessions to short-lived trends and no modern frills, the brand new ANVIL record will feature traditional metal at its finest with massive classic rock elements – a sound that ANVIL fans love and deserve.

ANVIL and PledgeMusic are offering fans a chance to get up close and personal with the band, access exclusive content and be a part of a truly unique fan-to-band experience. This will be the first time that we’ve used a pre-sales platform and we are fully confident that getting closer to our fans through making the album will take the making of it and the final album to somewhere fantastic. Tampa, Fla., Aug. 24, 2015 – Underoath, who recently confirmed two reunion shows at the 2016 Self Help Festival and South By So What, have announced a North American tour.  Dubbed the Rebirth Tour, the band will be playing the albums They’re Only Chasing Safetyand Define The Great Line in their entirety.
“I think the thought of Underoath playing again seemed really exciting,” explains Tim McTague of the band’s reunion. “We never thought we’d ever even want to play together again, much less be as excited to do so. It was a really cool feeling, and when discussing what this tour could be, it just felt right to play the two albums that our fans have held dearly for so many years. I think it’s going to be really special.”
“I hated the idea of Underoath being ‘over’ and I’m not sure what we are, but we are all friends again and that’s really the most important thing,” said Spencer Chamberlain. “That being said, we felt like now is a great time to do a tour and celebrate Define The Great Line turning ten.”

Precious Child Release Official Video For "I Fall"

Baltimore Dark Rockers Precious Child have released the official video for the single "I Fall" featuring America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 actress Nina Burns.

“This is one of the most intense things I’ve ever done. I had no idea that a video shoot would be so involved. When we were initially discussing it, I was pretty unsure about how well the video would turn out. Despite this being his first video project, Precious proved that he has a clear and strong vision and it was wonderful to see our initial storyboard come to life. When I first saw the video, I surprised myself and cried. I myself have dealt with my share of darkness and understood the message of the video quite well." - Precious Child
