LOS ANGELES, CA – August 25, 2015 - IRON MAIDEN, whose new studio album The Book of Souls, their first for 5 years, will be released worldwide next week on Sept 4, are taking touring to a new level using a Boeing 747-400 Jumbo Jet (aka Queen of the Skies) for their World Tour next year. Vocalist Bruce Dickinson is currently in training for his licence to fly the massive four engine jet, which is almost twice the size and over three times the weight of the Boeing 757 used on previous tours in 2008/9/11 (see attached comparison grid). The new Ed Force One will take the band, crew and over 12 tons of equipment more than 55,000 miles (88,500km) around the planet with concerts in six of the seven continents (Australasia, Asia, North and South America, Africa and Europe) with The Book of Souls World Tour 2016expected to visit around 35 countries.

Details of the precise schedule are currently being finalized and we will commence announcements of specific dates for the different territories in a few weeks’ time.  However we can reveal that The Book Of Souls World Tour will open in the U.S.A in late February with Ed Force One flying in for three shows before, in early March, heading into Central America visiting MEXICO, followed by a much anticipated first ever concert in EL SALVADOR and a return to COSTA RICA. Ed Force One then proceeds into South America for concerts in ARGENTINA, CHILE and a number of shows in BRAZIL before flying back to the USA at the end of March for ten more cities covering the U.S.A and, of course, CANADA in the first two weeks of April.

A long awaited return to JAPAN follows later in April, and then the band are delighted to be playing their first ever shows in CHINA before heading to NEW ZEALANDand AUSTRALIA for a comprehensive tour during the first half of May. Shows in SOUTH AFRICA, Maiden’s first visit there with Bruce, will be the last port of call before Ed Force One heads to EUROPE for a very extensive tour starting in late May and finishing in early August. This will the first time Ed Force One has ever been used on any European Tour dates (other than Bruce’s Fan Club trips to shows) and will provide transport there for at least for the first few weeks.

Bruce Dickinson comments:

“When the opportunity arose from my friends at Air Atlanta Icelandic (LINK www.atlanta.is) to lease a 747 for The Book of Souls World Tour, of course we jumped at the chance, who wouldn’t? The greatest benefit of travelling in a 747 is that because of its colossal size and freight capacity we can carry our stage production and all our stage equipment and desks in the cargo hold without having to make any of the immense structural modifications needed to do this on the previous 757, the extent of which fans will have noted on the Flight 666 DVD. Although in reality we cannot carry much more gear the savings in complexity, time and cost make using the 747 even more practical. All we will need to do is “paint” it and move a few seats around, with the added advantage that there is much more room for band and crew – our Krew can almost get a row of seats each to catch up on sleep on the flights! Furthermore, it is marginally faster o.85 MACH and the range of around 7000NM (13,000 km) is much greater which means we will not have to make the refuelling stops we needed to with the 757.

“However, even though we have worked out the logistics of taking a plane of that immense size out on tour, I still have to learn to fly it before we can go anywhere! So, I’m currently doing my training to qualify as a pilot and Captain on a Boeing 747.  I’m doing this at Cardiff Aviation, my aircraft maintenance facility in Wales, where we recently took possession of a rather splendid 747 simulator which I can’t wait to get practising on!

“We’re all really excited at the thought of bringing our brand new tour to fans who have never seen us play live before, and of course re-visiting all our old friends again too. You can rest assured we are all working hard to put together a spectacular show for our fans.”

The 747 is the world’s most recognisable airliner on account of its distinctive hump. With its impressive dimensions of 70.7m (232ft) length, 19.4m (63.6ft) height and a jaw-dropping wing span of 64.4m (211ft) this double-decker aircraft has a range of 13,450km (7,262nm). (See grid for full and comparative specs)

Final dates, venues and ticket on sale times, along with full details of what Maiden fans can expect from The Book Of Souls World Tour, will be announced by territory starting in a few weeks’ time. As usual, where feasible, IRON MAIDEN Fan Club members will have exclusive access to purchase tickets before they go on general sale. Also, wherever possible, the Fan Club will again be running the First To The Barrier draw for privileged, early access to the venue to secure the best standing positions by or close to the barrier.

The Book Of Souls is Maiden’s 16th, and first ever, double studio album and is released September 4 through BMG in the U.S.A (Parlophone Records rest of world).

Canadian cult metal act ANVIL is back! Striving to bypass the labels that have stood between the band and fans for years, ANVIL is creating their new record Anvil Is Anvil with a direct-to-fan approach in mind. Recently, the band teamed up with PledgeMusic to assure that fan connection, but unlike other crowdsourcing campaigns put forth by bands in the hopes of amassing a recording budget, ANVIL’s campaign strives to do so while truly providing fans with unique, once-in-a-lifetime experiences and personal, one-on-one opportunities that they will never forget.

ANVIL’s 2009 movie documentary, The Story Of Anvil made them famous the world over. Their albums are considered landmarks among a musical genre. Their 2011 release, Juggernaut Of Justice, and their 2013 release, Hope In Hell, were powerful and unrelenting.

Anvil Is Anvil will be their most potent yet, and feature guitarist/vocalist Steve ‘Lips’ Kudlow, drummer Robb Reiner, and new bassist Chris Robertson in top form. Featuring no concessions to short-lived trends and no modern frills, the brand new ANVIL record will feature traditional metal at its finest with massive classic rock elements – a sound that ANVIL fans love and deserve.

ANVIL and PledgeMusic are offering fans a chance to get up close and personal with the band, access exclusive content and be a part of a truly unique fan-to-band experience. With every pre-order, pledgers will get the AccessPass which will give them exclusive looks at behind the scenes videos, photos and messages from the band. Fans will also have several once in a lifetime opportunities to purchase:

  • In person or Skype drum lesson with Robb
  • In person or Skype guitar lesson with Lips
  • Guest back-up vocal appearance on the new record
  • One of Lips’ amps
  • The opportunity to attend a live rehearsal

Guitarist and vocalist Steve ‘Lips’ Kudlow  statesm “We are proud to announce to our fans that they can keep in personal touch with the band and be directly involved in the process of creating the next ANVIL album. This will be the first time that we’ve used a pre-sales platform and we are fully confident that getting closer to our fans through making the album will take the making of it and the final album to somewhere fantastic. Considering that almost anyone aware of ANVIL knows our long and sometimes brutal history, we’re hoping you would be honored to help and prove us right in our belief in you… and we promise another top notch ANVIL recording that we can enjoy for many years into the future.”

It was a really cool feeling, and when discussing what this tour could be, it just felt right to play the two albums that our fans have held dearly for so many years. I think it’s going to be really special.”
“I hated the idea of Underoath being ‘over’ and I’m not sure what we are, but we are all friends again and that’s really the most important thing,” said Spencer Chamberlain. “That being said, we felt like now is a great time to do a tour and celebrate Define The Great Line turning ten.”
Pre-sale tickets are available now via
http://underoath.merchline.com. VIP packages feature an assortment of items including an exclusive, limited edition, double vinyl reissue of the two releases as well as t-shirts, sound check access, etc (full details below). General on sales begin on Aug. 28 at 10 am.

Precious Child Release Official Video For "I Fall"

Baltimore Dark Rockers Precious Child have released the official video for the single "I Fall" featuring America's Next Top Model Cycle 20 actress Nina Burns.

“This is one of the most intense things I’ve ever done. I had no idea that a video shoot would be so involved. When we were initially discussing it, I was pretty unsure about how well the video would turn out. Despite this being his first video project, Precious proved that he has a clear and strong vision and it was wonderful to see our initial storyboard come to life. When I first saw the video, I surprised myself and cried. I myself have dealt with my share of darkness and understood the message of the video quite well." - Precious Child

"Planet A" - Where Everyone Can Hear You Scream

LOS ANGELES, CA - August 21, 2015 -- The Devil Wears Prada has premiered the first video from the band's concept EP "Space," that is released today, Friday, August 21.  The track, "Planet A," tells the story of Elizabeth, an interstellar explorer who captains a starship through the galaxies, subsequently suffering a horrible malfunction that sets the stage for the rest of the EP.

"Planet A" can be viewed here:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ECzvF3oAW68

The Devil Wears Prada's choice of directors was unorthodox for a metal core band, choosing Casey Pierce who directed Torres' videos "Strange Hellos" and "Sprinters."  But then Prada's artistic approach has always been indie-minded, challenging creative boundaries whenever possible.  AsNoisey wrote in yesterday's video premiere, "[the video] gets wildly abstract, a continuation in the band's attention to detail when it comes to visuals.  One take can even be the journey into space representing birth, survival and inevitable demise.  Or like, cool space shit."

The Devil Wears Prada's "Space" EP, released today, is a six-track collection of thematic songs that each explores a different point of view of space and those things that exist outside of the Earth's province - the sun, the moon, aliens, asteroids, and the interstellar space explorer.  And of course, all songs are Prada's signature post-hardcore.  "Space" is TDWP's second EP, the first, 2010's critically-acclaimed "Zombies," was a Top 10 Billboard hit.  TDWP has graced the covers of Alternative PressRevolverAMPHM, and Outburn, and continues to be at the forefront of a movement that bridges the gap between Mayhem and the Van's Warped Tour.

COAL CHAMBER Premiere Lyric Video For "Nail In The Coffin"
Wrap Up North American Tour This Week!

Nu-Metal legends COAL CHAMBER are in the final week of their second North American tour behind Rivals, the band's first new album in over 13 years.  Fear Factory, The Devil You Know, Saint Ridley and Madlife are providing support.  Tonight the show stops in Lincoln, NE and wraps Saturday in Santa Ana, CA.
Today COAL CHAMBER has released a brand new lyric video for the song "Another Nail in the Coffin".  Check it out HERE!
COAL CHAMBER took a hefty 13-year break - but before they went on hiatus, they thrilled thousands of fans worldwide with the wickedest of all grooves that churned out 90s anthems like 'Loco' and 'Big truck'. Frontman Dez Fafara went on to reach superstardom with DevilDriver, but there`s nothing like old love: Rivals is COAL CHAMBER`s fourth album and has been produced by Mark Lewis (DevilDriver, Cannibal Corpse). Behold: the trademarks of the band encounter exciting and mature songwriting; all adding up to one furious comeback!
Rivals was released in May of 2015 entering the Billboard Top 200 and received critical acclaim from the media and fans alike.  Rivals can be purchased HERE.

GWAR B-Q is a huge success....GWAR announces more tour dates

The 6th Annual GWAR B-Q was held this weekend in beautiful Richmond, Virginia.  All Bohabs lucky enough to survive the event are in agreement; this was the best GWAR B-Q ever!  Fans from across the globe made their way to Hadad's Lake in Richmond to celebrate the 30th Birthday of intergalactic shock rock giants....GWAR!

The 3-day weekend of destruction and debauchery started off at The National with the B4BQ, featuring blistering performances from Coal Chamber, Fear Factory and every band from The Summer Slaughter Tour.  After the show, hundreds of Bohabs kept the party going at GWAR's own watering hole, the one and only GWARbar!

The weekend's main event took place on Saturday, August 15th, under crystal clear skies at Hadad's Lake.  The water was cool, and the Oderus Ale was flowing like hot, delicious piss! In an uncharacteristic act of compassion, our Lords and Masters offered free GWATER to the delirious, heat stroking Bohabs, and this was no Woodstock...there were more than enough chemical toilets for all the pee pee and poo poo!

Riding high on the momentum from The GWAR B-Q, the Intergalactic Overlords are set to hit the road next week.  The tour begins August 25th in Millvale, PA and ends September 19th in Toronto.  Support on the tour will come from Butcher Babies and label-mates Battlecross, and this run will see the band playing all three Riot Fest dates (Denver, Chicago, Toronto) and the Befuddled Fest in New Albany, IL. Tickets for these dates are on sale now!

Following their appearance at the final Riot Fest in Toronto, GWAR will return to their arctic slumber for less than a month before they return to finish the desecration of the North American continent.  This time, the band will be joined by Born of Osiris and once again their friends in Battlecross.  This leg of the tour kicks off October 7th in Cincinnati, OH and wraps up November 28th in Orlando, FL.  For the Canadian dates on the tour direct support will come from Cryptopsy.  More dates will be added in the coming weeks, so don't worry if your Intergalactic rock gods have yet to announce a date in your town. Tickets for these Fall shows go on sale Friday August 21st, but if you are a member of the GWAR Fan Club, you can get your tickets starting today direct from your Overlords at a reduced ticket processing fee by clicking the logo below or visiting gwar.missiontix.com.

GWAR promises an all new show that cannot be missed. All human scum are commanded to attend each and every show of the tour! So tell your bosses, spouses and screaming rug rats to suck it! Dedicate your life to GWAR!

The band is keeping the gory details of the show tightly under wraps, but guitarist Pustulus Maximus seems hell bent on leaking some information about what to expect...

"I have yet to grasp this concept of the internet and the spouting of self-important speeches by people in social media; the INTERNET MUST DIE, so GWAR will KILL IT!. Management tells me the internet is not a person that can be fought and killed, but they don't know the true power of a Scumdog. WE KILL EVERYTHING!"

Almost six years have passed since the world saw a new studio album from Metal Icons W.A.S.P.  This October 9th, the wait ends, as Blackie Lawless and the legendary rockers W.A.S.P. will release their long awaited new album and Napalm Records debut Golgotha.

Frontman Blackie Lawless told about Ultimate Classic Rock about "Last Runaway":

"40 years ago I came to Hollywood as a teenager.  Terrified and scared out of my mind, I had no idea what waited there for me.  The song "Last Runaway" is an intensely personal account of what happened to me, not only then but over the years and the success that followed after.  Be it a kid looking for success in the music business or any life challenging endeavor that someone would "Runaway" from in life, I'm certain that everyone can relate to this story one way or another.  It's another kid "chasing the dream" .........and trying to survive it in the process...we've all been there!!"

Golgotha is available for pre-order from the Napalm Records Webstore in North America HERE and Europe HERE.

 Golgotha Track Listing:

1. Scream

2. Last Runaway

3. Shotgun

W.A.S.P. came out of the Los Angeles Metal scene in 1982 gaining notoriety for their shock rock antics. With a career spanning over 3 decades, 17 world tours, and now their 15th studio album, they are a metal band that has evolved in maturity without having lost their signature sound, unlike many of their peers from their origins.  Golgotha will continue down the path that 2007'sDominator and 2009's Babylon started on, both in production style and theme. Years in the making, Golgotha will undoubtedly lead the listeners on the emotionally epic undertaking that W.A.S.P. has become acclaimed for!

The HOT STREAK will continue this fall for THE WINERY DOGS (Richie Kotzen-lead vocals/guitar, Mike Portnoy-drums, Billy Sheehan-bass).  Their second appropriately titled, self-produced studio album, HOT STREAK, is set for release October 2 on Loud & Proud Records via RED (a division of Sony Music Entertainment) and in the rest of the world via earMUSIC. It will be preceded by the first single, “Oblivion,” set for release August 25 at radio.  A double vinyl edition of the new album is also in the works and is due out in early November.
After playing over 100 shows in support of their self-titled debut album, THE WINERY DOGS are eager to head back out on the road to get behind HOT STREAK. Their first round of U.S. headlining tour dates will kick off October 3 in Ridgefield, CT at the Ridgefield Playhouse. Shows around the globe are already being planned for 2016.
HOT STREAK shows the powerfully pedigreed trio’s initial burst of collective chemistry was no accident, from the strum and headbang of “Captain Love” to the propulsive uplifting vibe of “The Bridge” to the introspective acoustic harmonic convergence of “Fire.” If these three Dogs thought they captured lightning in a supper dish the first time around, HOT STREAK barks ups the aural ante into exciting new territory.
“I feel we’ve taken the band to another level,” explains Richie Kotzen. “The compositions are stronger on this album. I feel more connected lyrically and musically to what I did on this record than on the last one. We’ve widened the musical scope of the band on this record and moved it forward."
Mike Portnoy continues, “Everything on this album was more of a collaboration than on the first album. There’s just a natural chemistry. The three of us really mesh very, very well, both musically and personally. The mission of this band is to write catchy songs, and not have the musicianship overpower that.”
“I’m glad we’re not playing it safe and just doing songs that automatically fit in the category of what we did on the first record,” Billy Sheehan concludes. “Some of them are a little different, and we definitely took chances. And you have to do that — otherwise, you don’t grow."
The trio first exploded onto the Rock scene with their self-titled, self-produced and critically acclaimed debut album that was released July 23, 2013 on Loud & Proud Records and a sold-out worldwide tour.  THE WINERY DOGS debuted on Billboard’s “Top Alternative Albums” chart at #3, “Top Independent Albums” chart at #4, “Top Rock Albums” chart at #5, “Top Internet Albums” at #8 and “Top 200 Albums” chart at #27.

Band Nearing Finish Line with the Recording of the New Album

LOS ANGELES, CA - (TUESDAY, August 11, 2015) -- In the final stages of recording the follow-up to 2011's Worship Music, Anthrax - Joey Belladonna/vocals, Frank Bello/bass, Charlie Benante/drums, guitarist Jon Donais, and Scott Ian/rhythm guitar - will hit the road beginning August 28 for a 42-city global trek that will see the band playing three major festivals as well as sharing stages with the likes of Motorhead and their fellow Big Four comrades, Slayer.

Anthrax's Bello, Benante and Ian started the new album writing process back in late 2013 when they began exchanging suggested riffs and other ideas for the new songs.  With producer and "sixth member of the band" Jay Ruston, formal writing sessions started last Fall, culminating with about 20 original songs, almost twice as many as the band had ever brought to the recording studio in the past.

According to Benante, "'Worship Music' started a new chapter in our career, and it has served as an inspiration for this new album.  'Worship' was made up of a lot of different types of songs, some thrashy, some very mid-90s Anthrax-sounding, but this new one is
really thrashy."

Said Bello, "The thing about Anthrax...we have this heavy, thrashy music and Joey's powerful and melodic vocals.  I love heavy music, but I also love melody, so the challenge is to blend them together so they sound like Anthrax, and I think we've done a really good job of that on this new record."

The Grammy-nominated Worship Music featured the return of "classic era" vocalist Belladonna, and was named one of the best albums of 2011 in numerous media outlets including SPIN, Metal Hammer, Guitar World, and Loudwire, and provided the band with the rock'n'roll comeback story of the year, all adding up to the excitement and anticipation for this new album.

IRON MAIDEN’s eagerly awaited new studio album The Book Of Souls will be released globally on September 4, 2015, through BMG in the U.S.A. (Parlophone Records rest of world). It was recorded in Paris with their longstanding producer Kevin “Caveman” Shirley in late 2014, with the finishing touches added earlier this year.  However, the band decided to delay its release so that vocalist Bruce Dickinson, who was recently given the all-clear from a tumor, would have time to recuperate sufficiently to join in the preparations for the album’s launch.

The stunning cover art was created by Mark Wilkinson, who has worked with the band previously, and because this 11-track album has a total running time of 92 minutes, it is IRON MAIDEN’s first ever double studio album.  There’s a broader split on the songwriting compared to previous Maiden records, with bassist and founder member Steve Harris contributing to seven of the tracks; six of them with Maiden’s guitarists and one sole composition.  This is also the first time since 1984’s Powerslave that an IRON MAIDEN studio album features two tracks written solely by Bruce Dickinson, one of which is the longest song Maiden has ever recorded! The Book Of Souls also features Dickinson/Smith collaborations.

Steve comments: “We approached this album in a different way to how we’ve recorded previously.  A lot of the songs were actually written while we were there in the studio and we rehearsed and recorded them straight away while they were still fresh, and I think that immediacy really shows in the songs, they have almost a live feel to them, I think. I’m very proud of The Book Of Souls, we all are, and we can’t wait for our fans to hear it, and especially to take it out on the road next year!

Bruce continues: “We’re really excited about The Book Of Souls and had a fantastic time creating it. We started working on the album in late summer 2014 and recorded it at Guillame Tell Studios in Paris, where we’d done the Brave New World album back in 2000 so the studio holds special memories for all of us. We were delighted to discover the same magical vibe is still alive and very much kicking there! So we immediately felt at home and the ideas just started flowing. By the time we’d finished we all agreed that each track was such an integral part of the whole body of work that if it needed to be a double album, then double its going to be!

The full track listing is:

Disc 1

1. If Eternity Should Fail (Dickinson) 8:28

2. Speed Of Light (Smith/ Dickinson) 5:01

3. The Great Unknown (Smith/ Harris) 6:37

4. The Red And The Black (Harris) 13:33

5. When The River Runs Deep (Smith/ Harris) 5:52

6. The Book Of Souls (Gers/ Harris) 10:27

8. Shadows Of The Valley (Gers/ Harris) 7:32

The Book Of Souls is the band’s 16th studio album since their eponymous debut in 1980 charted at No. 4 in the UK, in a career achieving sales of over 90 million albums worldwide. Their previous album, 2010’s The Final Frontier, was Maiden’s most successful chart-wise to date, reaching Number One in 28 countries and was their highest chart debut in the U.S reaching No. 4 in the Billboard 200.

Due to Bruce’s illness the band had to delay touring plans but promise to be out on the road again early next year, giving time for Bruce to make a full physical recovery to be ready for the rigors of Maiden live performances.

SOILWORK Reveals Part One of Official “The Ride Majestic” Mini-Documentary

Watch HERE via MetalSucks – An Insider Look at the History of SOILWORK

Stay Tuned for Part Two Coming Next Week!

New Album “The Ride Majestic” Out August 28, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records

US Tour with Soulfly, Decapitated & Shattered Sun Kicks Off September 30th

Sweden-based melodic metal giants SOILWORK are gearing up for the release of their forthcoming 10th studio album, The Ride Majestic, hitting stores worldwide on August 28, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records. The Ride Majestic will be available in various formats (CD, Vinyl, TS/CD Bundle) - pre-order your copy here: http://nblast.de/SOILWORKMajesticNB

In preparation of the album’s release, SOILWORK has created a two-part mini-documentary inviting fans and newcomers alike to take an insider’s look at their musical history. Vocalist Bjorn “Speed” Strid gives a one-on-one, personal account of what has shaped SOILWORK as the one of the greatest European metal bands in modern music. Take a look at part one of the documentary, exclusively via MetalSucks here: http://www.metalsucks.net/2015/07/29/exclusive-cinemetal-premiere-soilworks-the-ride-majestic-official-documentary-part-one/

SOILWORK vocalist Bjorn “Speed” Strid states: “After finishing up the album, the band was asked if we had a bunch of footage from the studio, potentially shaping up to become a making of-style documentary. Truth was, we didn't get much on tape at all in the studio. At least video. There was a lot of audio though, which you all get to hear on the 28th of August. Perhaps not all that weird, after going through some really rough times in our personal lives, while the album was recorded (once you see this mini doc, you'll understand why).

Thinking about it made me realize, that as interesting as it might be for the fans, I believed it was time for something new. In my mind, the typical "webisode"- format seemed watered down. I believed we had a different story to tell this time around, rather than showing off gear and making silly faces in the studio. Just a week ago, I did some brainstorming and put together somewhat of a script, where I told my part of the story and how this album came together for me personally. One of the main reasons, aside from that this awesome band I'm a part of, is spread out all over the world, and pretty hard to gather in matter of hours, is because that the vocal recording was extra special for me this time. I moved back to the city where it all began for me. the city where I started my first bands. I basically reconnected with the people and the scene, that all had a huge impact on me. I wanted to somehow share it with you, and tell the story of how it all lead up this new record of ours. Expect nothing close to "The Seventh Seal" by Ingemar Bergman. However, it's a very honest story, how everything came to together for me personally, and how the hardship we all went through the latest year, shaped our new album The Ride Majestic. Hope you enjoy it!”

Get your first musical taste of The Ride Majestic by listening to the title track and first single here:https://youtu.be/0wLXeWKGRpM

After performing select European festivals this coming month, SOILWORK will arrive in the U.S. to kick off their upcoming “We Sold Our Souls to Metal” tour in support of headliners Soulfly, with additional special guests Decapitated and Shattered Sun. The band will then head back to Europe for their headlining “The Tour Majestic” run, with support from Hatesphere.

The title Psychic Warfare is taken from the track, X-Ray Visions states singer Neil Fallon. Its a tale about an unnamed protagonist who is forced to seek refuge in a flop house motel.  He is hiding from several nefarious psychic forces, the worst of which is his own sleep deprived paranoia. The album cover was designed by renowned photographer Dan Winters.

Clutch is comprised of vocalist/guitarist Neil Fallon, drummer Jean-Paul Gaster, guitarist Tim Sult, and bassist Dan Maines.

Clutch have been pushing the boundaries that define heavy rock music since the four original members got together in high school. Clutch is an unmatched musical force that has been best described as the quintessential American Rock Band. They released their tenth studio album Earth Rocker via their own label Weathermaker Music on March 16, 2013. The album entered the Billboard Top 200 chart at #15 giving the band their highest chart position to date.

Clutchs Earth Rocker reached #1 on the Rock Chart and #4 on iTunes' overall Top 100 album chart. Earth Rocker was awarded “Album of The Year” by Metal Hammer and garnered a Top 10 spot on Rolling Stones “Top 20 Metal Albums of the Year. Rolling Stone further enthused:  Four Maryland lifers road dogs who've been grinding since the early Fugazi administration, cranking out  seething admixtures of jam-band chops, careening blues-punk riffs and singer Neil Fallon's nerdy, piss-taking wiseass lyrics release their hardest rocking set to date. Look for a go-go break (and some clever punning on the phrase "drop the bomb!) on D.C. Sound Attack! Inspirational verse: if you're gonna do it/ do it live on stage/ or don't do it at all.

For nearly two decades Buckcherry has pushed buttons and boundaries with their signature swagger and unapologetic attitude, and on their seventh record the band returns with one of their most diverse records to date. On Rock ‘n’ Roll, Buckcherry exudes an unadulterated, boisterous energy that transcends trends and upholds the raw fundamentals of rock music.
Buckcherry recently came out swinging with their radio single “Bring It On Back,” which garnered an immediate and impressive reaction from fans and critics. Now, the band delivers a knockout blow with their infectious, charging rock anthem “The Madness” that’s a quick reminder that true rock is alive and well.
“”The Madness” is about the battle between the part of your mind that controls the "do the right thing" and the other side that wants to take risks and break all the rules, the side I call "the madness." - Josh Todd

About September Mourning:

September Mourning revives the concept of rock star meets superhero. If Marilyn Manson and Lady Gaga had a kid, it would be September Mourning, who also cites influences as varied as David Bowie, Motionless in White, KISS, Paramore and My Chemical Romance.

“For me, the project is a story, a theatrical art piece,” September explains. “Music is a piece of the backbone, but for this to work, it has to include the imagery and the narrative all symbiotically linked into the whole. Music taps into your innermost being. There’s something very intimate and personal about it.”

The character of September Mourning is a human-reaper hybrid, who feels the need to give some human souls a second chance, and thus toys with Fate. To expound on this narrative, September is working with iconic comic book artist Marc Silvestri, who started out on the original X-Mencomics and went on to form both Image and Top Cow Productions (Witchblade, The Darkness). Together, they are putting together the story of September Mourning in graphic novel form, to accompany, and enhance the storyline and musical message.

September Mourning carries positive passions into its music, which is often operatic, but also completely rock ‘n’ roll in all its majestic glory.

Having toured with Marilyn Manson, September Mourning has already built up an impressive fan base, which she calls her “Children of Fate,” constantly encouraging them to have “the courage to embrace their passion… to allow yourself to follow your heart and not be a slave to your fears. To know that the only boundaries that exist in our lives are the ones we allow.”

First Single “Thank You” To Hit Radio Next Month

Musical evolution comes at various points throughout a band’s career, even those who have been creating music for over 18 years together. Sevendust are the living embodiment of this fact and their new album Kill The Flaw is the next step forward. Kill The Flaw is the band’s 11th studio album and is slated for release on October 2nd via 7Bros. Records with ADA/Warner Brothers Distribution. Sevendust is comprised of iconic vocalist Lajon Witherspoon, the dual-guitar attack of John Connolly and Clint Lowery, and the driving rhythm section of Vince Hornsby on bass and Morgan Rose on drums. Kill The Flaw was self-produced by Sevendust and recorded at Architekt Music in Butler, New Jersey with engineer/mixer Mike Ferretti.

“We took some time off from the heavy side of Sevendust and when it came time to record some new music; Clint, John, Vinnie, Morgan and I put everything we had in to what became Kill The Flaw,” states vocalist Lajon Witherspoon. “We love this new music and we can’t wait to share it with our amazing Sevendust family! God bless y’all!!!”

The album opener and first single “Thank You” shows that Sevendust is back and better than ever. The song can be heard here via YouTube here: https://youtu.be/1Qt3QbEzq7Q as well as streaming partners like Spotify and Apple Music. Tracks like “Death Dance,” “Cease and Desist” and “Not Today” exemplify the growth of the band as songwriters. The tour kicks off on September 23rd on Detroit, MI and will run throughout October where it wraps on October 19th in Ottawa, ON. The tour will be making stops in Kansas City, Huntsville and Poughkeepsie to name a few. Sevendust is also playing at the Food Truck & Rock Carnival on September 19th in Clark, NJ; the Louder Than Life festival in Louisville, KY and the Monster Energy Aftershock Festival in Elverta, CA. They are also playing with Breaking Benjamin on September 18 in PA. Sevendust has been known for their amazing live shows as radio personality Lou Brutus recently stated: “The next time you see Sevendust perform at a festival, don’t watch them, watch the side of the stage, because you can bet every other band on the bill will be there taking notes & wondering how they got so fucking good.”

Sevendust formed in 1996 and have forged one of hard rock’s most diehard audiences. 2014’s acoustic offering Time Traveler’s & Bonfires saw an overwhelming response from that community, being quickly funded through a highly successful PledgeMusic campaign. Just a year prior, Black Out The Sun entered Billboard’s Top Hard Music Albums chart at #1 and landed at #18 on the Top 200. They kicked off their illustrious career with an untouchable string of three gold albums, beginning with their self-titled 1997 debut and continuing with Home in 1999 and Animosity in 2001. Along the way, they’ve sold out shows everywhere and given unforgettable performances at the likes of Rock On The Range, Woodstock, OZZfest, and Shiprocked! to name a few. However, the era of Kill The Flaw starts now.

“Although there’s plenty of LAMB OF GOD’s trademark guitar chug and Olympics-level drumming, the eerier moments (see the jailhouse tale “512”) and unexpected guests (including members of Deftones and the Dillinger Escape Plan) show a group that’s thirsty to evolve beyond its own established patterns.” – Kory Grow, Rolling Stone

“"VII: Sturm und Drang", for all of its polish and bows to melody, is one of the fiercest albums they've ever laid down… This album is a full-on purge and if you can relate, "VII: Sturm und Drang" will get you off in more ways than one.” – Ray Van Horn Jr., Blabbermouth.net

LAMB OF GOD's return with VII: Sturm und Drang [Epic Records] is a flawless fire and brimstone blast. This is heavy music forged in flames of raw emotion and experience in the most unbridled manner. The group… carve out a rapturously heavy and unsettlingly hypnotic space that's easy to fall into. This is the band's most simultaneously atomic and atmospheric body of work to date.” – Rick Florino, ArtistDirect.com

“From the brooding dynamics of Overlord and Embers to the more expected savagery of Erase This and Delusion Pandemic, LAMB OF GOD sound more focused than ever here, and thoroughly deserving of their status as one of metal’s biggest bands.” – Dom Lawson, The Guardian

“The band's newest work finds them continuing to find the fine balance between sinister thrash and metallic catchiness on standout tracks like "Overlord" and "Erase This”.” – Jason Roche, OC Weekly

“…another solid addition to the LAMB OF GOD catalogue.” - Bradley Zorgdrager, Exclaim! Magazine

Recently, LAMB OF GOD released their official music videos for “Overlord” and “512”, both directed by Jorge Torres-Torres.Watch both videos here: “512” | “Overlord”

Grammy Award-winning multi-platinum hard rock innovators KORN are topping off their 20th anniversary celebrations with something special for their fans. Today (July 21), the band has announced they will head out on the road for one last turn in 2015 to perform their debut album KORN in its entirety.  A limited amount of tickets and early entry packages will go up onKORN.com tomorrow, Wednesday, July 22 at 10 am local time.  Regular tickets go on sale this Friday, July 24 at 10 am in most markets.

The 20th anniversary shows, which started in 2014, were so well-received that the band-Jonathan Davis (vocals),  James "Munky" Shaffer (guitar), Brian "Head" Welch (guitar), Reginald "Fieldy" Arvizu (bass) and Ray Luzier (drums)--wanted to bring this iteration of the live show into an intimate setting for the core fanbase.  Starting on October 1 at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, the band will set out on a month-long tour around the U.S. to perform the album that started it all at iconic venues including The Fillmore in Detroit, Irving Plaza in New York City, The Tabernacle in Atlanta, Stubbs in Austin and the Fox Theatre in Oakland, CA.  At each show, fans will get to experience KORN two decades later and be able to request which songs from the band's massive catalogue should make up the encore. Joining KORN on the tour are special guests Suicide Silence andIslander.

KORN's self-titled debut album, which was released in May 1994, has been heralded by Rolling Stone as "the most important metal album of the last 20 years."  Produced by Ross Robinson, the critically acclaimed album featured singles "Blind," "Shoots and Ladders," "Clown" and "Need To."  With little mainstream support, Davis' dark and disturbing lyrics alongsideKORN's new and unique hyper-aggressive soundtrackKORN went on to sell over two million albums worldwide

Wrote Christopher Weingarten of Rolling Stone (12/11/14), "While aging metalheads were trying to walk confidently through alternative nation, Korn lurched into the world like hip-hop zombies rocking Adidas tracksuits, baggy jeans and untamed dreadlocks. Their eclecticism was a pre-iTunes shuffle jumble: the whinnies and whines of Cypress Hill, the goth bravado of the Cure, the thwapping double-kicks of Primus, the 808 hit of a Rick Rubin brick-breaker, meth-fueled Boredoms-style scatting, and bass strings that sounded like a bask of crocodiles tangled in industrial-sized rubber bands. While Pantera's Phil Anselmo grumbled chest-puffing lines like 'I f***ed your girlfriend last night,' Korn's frail Jonathan Davis screamed, 'I'm a faggot.' Pearl Jam and Tool couched their torment in poetry and anonymity; but Korn put everything on the line, especially with 'Daddy,' a harrowing song about Davis being molested as a child that ends with nearly four minutes of the singer sobbing in the vocal booth."

Look for KORN to return with a new album in 2016.

Urilia Announces Pre-Order For Debut EP "The Adversarial Light" (Out August 11, 2015)

July 21, 2015 - Los Angeles based Extreme Metal band Urilia has announced the pre-order of their debut EP "The Adversarial Light" which will be released onAugust 11th.

Check Out Urilia's "I Am Nephilim" (Official Lyric Video) From "The Adversarial Light" EP Below:

The goal of this EP was to create a sound that combines a blend of European-style Metal with American Metal, ranging from Symphonic Black Metal, Melodic Death Metal, Groove Metal, and all other forms of Extreme Metal. This fusion of hard-hitting brutality will annihilate viewers with fast speed picking riffs and heavy breakdowns, mixed with eerie symphonic/apocalyptic orchestrated keyboards. Produced, mixed, and mastered by Mick Kenney, the mastermind behind Anaal Nathrakh, who also worked with artists such as Bleeding Through, Motionless in White, The Witch Was Right, Suffer Well, and much more. This album is perfect for fans of all sub-genres of Metal.

The overall message behind this EP is to educate our fans on dark spirituality, and how to utilize Left Hand Path energy to cultivate the inner strength and wisdom that is too often lost within a modern society that undervalues authenticity and personal power, and serves to keep us bound by pervasive and limiting cultural norms, narrow-mindedness, and corruption. The Adversarial Light is also based on one of the many books written by Occult writer/leader of the 'Order of Phosphorus', Michael W. Ford, based on the Luciferian Path.

We hope everyone enjoys this EP, and that the power in the message inspires our fans to continue growing and breaking free. - Kristof Bathory (Urilia)

▪ Necronomicon -

Here is a new and improved vision of Extreme Metal that combines a European style of Metal with an American style that also strikes with a powerful message from a path based on Occultism, Dark Spirituality, and Left Hand Path beliefs that will now spread like a plague throughout the Metal scene. .

Philip H. Anselmo Speaks To Rolling Stone About The Band's Return

Reactivated metal icons, SUPERJOINT -- who feature within their ranks members of Down, Eyehategod, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Warbeast etc. -- will kick off a near two-week long US tour tomorrow. Presented by frontman Philip H. Anselmo's own Housecore Records, the It Takes Guts Summer takeover marks the band's first official touring venture in over a decade! The caravan of chaos will commence Friday, July 10th in Oklahoma City and ravage its way through twelve US cities with support provided by punk metal/noise rock misfits, Child Bite, and Australian grind miscreants, King Parrot, both members of the Housecore Records family.

Now featuring Anselmo (Down, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Pantera et al), guitarists Kevin Bond (Christ Inversion, Artimus Pyledriver et al) and Jimmy Bower (Down, Eyehategod), drummer José Manuel Gonzalez (Warbeast, Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals) and bassist Stephen Taylor (Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals, Woven Hand, 16 Horsepower), the long-anticipated trek followsSUPERJOINT's first ever performance in Europe at this year's edition of Hellfest last month in Clisson, France. View the live footage at THIS LOCATION.

KING PARROT released their eagerly-anticipated Dead Set full-length earlier this year via Housecore Records. Captured by Anselmo and Michael Thompson with Steve Berrigan at the famed Nodferatu's Lair, KING PARROT's Dead Set brandishes ten grind-laden, punk-infused odes of defiant audio savagery bedecked in the dark, cynical humor for which the band has become notorious.

CHILD BITE will be touring in support of their Strange Waste EP, a deliciously bastardized hybrid of the Melvins, Dead Kennedys, Big Black and Faith No More, released last Fall via Housecore. The band recently tracked their forthcoming new full-length with Anselmo at his famed Nodferatu's Lair. Titled Negative Noise, the LP will be released later this year via Housecore.

SUPERJOINT churns out a debaucherous crossover of hardcore punk and metal a la Pantera and unleashed two critically-lauded full-lengths - 2002's Use Once And Destroy and 2003's Lethal Dose Of American Hatred - before taking hiatus in 2005.

The tour, which will kick off July 23 in Lake Charles, LA and run through the fall, will feature hits from Lucy as well as fan favorites.

In addition to revealing tour news, CANDLEBOX has also confirmed a lineup change.

After twenty plus years of rocking the road and creating great music together Peter Klett and Scott Mercado have decided to take a break from touring withCANDLEBOX. Parting ways amicably, Klett and Mercado have decided to devote their careers full time to Lotus Crush and their other side projects.

"I'm stoked that Pete and Scott are having such great success with Lotus Crush and their other projects.  I wish them nothing but the best," said Kevin Martin, lead singer for CANDLEBOX.

Peter Klett added, "It's time; there is nothing greater than playing music you've created in front of fans who love it with their heart and soul. That is what we have done with CANDLEBOX for 20 plus years. The wonderful people who have embraced us have done it with class. For that, Scott and I are extremely grateful."

The CANDLEBOX lineup continues with current member: Adam Kury on bass and guitar. Drummer Dave Krusen, who played with CANDLEBOXfrom 1996-2001 and was in Pearl Jam and was featured on the iconic 10album, Mike Leslie (Mike Leslie Band) and Fosterchild Guitarist Brian Quinn, who was label mates and friends with Martin for years.

Formed in 1990, CANDLEBOX is considered one of the greatest American rock bands of its time.  CANDLEBOX was the first successful act on Madonna's Maverick Records, which went on to sign Alanis Morissette, Deftones and The Prodigy. The band found immediate success with the release of its self-titled debut album in July 1993. It featured some of the band's biggest hit singles, including "Far Behind", "You" and "Cover Me" and was certified platinum by the RIAA four times. The group has sold over 8,000,000 albums worldwide. They continued their success releasing two highly successful albums (Lucy and Happy Pills), toured relentlessly and in the year 2000 took an indefinite hiatus.

Following the six-year hiatus, the band reunited in 2006, and two years later, they released their fourth album Into the Sun, followed by an extensive tour. Their latest album, Love Stories & Other Musings, was released in April 2012.  CANDLEBOX are currently hard at work on their new album, which is set for an early 2016 release.  More details on the new album and additional tour dates will be coming soon.

Hell or Highwater Release Video for New Single "I'll Be Waiting"

Song Available for Free Download on Band's Brand New Website

(Los Angeles, Calif.): Hell or Highwater, the rock band featuring Atreyu drummer/vocalist Brandon Saller on lead vocals, are back with a brand new single and website. The band just launched the video for "I'll Be Waiting," which you can watch here, on its newly launched website.
The song is also available for free download! So fans can enjoy the audio + the visual.
"I'll Be Waiting" was recorded by the band at its own The Spot Studio in Vista, California.
"'I'll Be Waiting,' in essence is a love song," Saller said, offering insight into the track. "But further, it's a celebration of the feeling one has when you find someone that you truly can't live without. It's a feeling unmatched by anything in this world. Everyone has a 'Jean Marie.' If you haven't found yours yet, you will know when you do. Here's to finding your 'Jean Marie' this summer."
Since their inception, Hell or Highwater have earned comparisons to acts like Foo Fighters and Muse, thanks to their knack for crafting unforgettable and uplifting rock songs. They earned a spot on the annual UPROAR Tour in 2013 and also toured the world with the likes of Avenged Sevenfold, whose frontman M. Shadows contributed vocals on the song "Go Alone," as well as Stone Sour and The Used.
They've survived van wrecks and lineup changes. But they've emerged as strong as ever, armed with a killer new track in the form of "I'll Be Waiting."

AT THE GATES online:
video for "Death and the Labyrinth"

Outraged by the repeated killings of unarmed black men amid the excessive and often gratuitous brutality at the hands of American law officials, and further angered by the misleading, sensationalized media coverage that has followed, Seether front man Shaun Morgan and video director, Sherif Higazy teamed to create “Nobody Praying For Me,” an immersive, interactive new video which debuts today at the Huffington Post, watch it here: www.nobodyprayingforme.com

The video’s provocative, ripped-from-the-headlines visuals, accessed on the home screen via five individually clickable points-of-view, are underscored by the track’s emotive musicality and poignantly painful lyrics.
Inspired by incidents such as the killing of Michael Brown in Ferguson, Missouri in 2014, the video takes the viewer through a fictitious, yet all too familiar set of circumstances shot from five divergent perspectives. The subject of “Nobody Praying For Me” is Jake Young, an ordinary black teen who, in one angle, is seen moving through a normal Tuesday—eating at home, riding his bike to his girlfriend’s, smoking pot and sharing a 40oz. with two buddies—until a case of mistaken identity and a ghastly miscalculation goes fatally awry. From a second vantage point, we catch amiable Officer Holloway on his daily beat with his partners, when a robbery call comes in, the suspect an “African-American male in a dark jacket, on foot.” The fates of the two intertwine when the officer’s seemingly good-natured questioning suddenly gives way to pre-conceived biases, adrenaline, struggle and then a flash. Three additional points of view—a video from a bystander’s cellphone, and coverage from two onsite news organizations—one liberal, the other conservative--are additional storylines clickable from the home screen of the “Nobody Praying for Me” video.
The video ends with the text: “Discrimination is everywhere, from the content we choose to watch to the narratives we choose to believe. It’s critical to be critical.”

“Our goal in creating this video is for people to educate themselves and make an informed decision on their own, rather than being told by any media outlet saying, ‘this is what you should be thinking, this is what is right,” explains Morgan. “The whole point is to try and shift the way we look at things and to not always leap to our pre-conceived conclusions, which is mostly racially and profile-based, because that’s what we get fed all the time. I’ve been guilty of it too. Its very unfortunate, and it’s getting worse instead of better.”
Indeed, Morgan expresses sympathy not only for the victims, but also for the officers, noting: “There are always two sides to the story. In the video, Officer Holloway judges these kids before he’s arrived, but why? Again, that’s our point; before you make any snap decisions, look at the whole picture.  Of course, we should be sympathetic to the kid who died in the video, however, it’s important that there is a dialogue where you go, ‘Hey, that cop looked like he was terrified. But was he too aggressive?’ Maybe. I think that we have to be sympathetic to and judgmental of both points of view.”

Growing up amidst the violence and racism in Pretoria, South Africa, Morgan brings a unique perspective to the impetus behind the creation of the “Nobody Praying For Me” video.  While not naïve enough to believe the messages will incite massive change, he does believes the video “can spark a debate,” to make it more than just a band trying to make a statement.”
The “Nobody Praying for Me” video is not the first time Seether has expressed a socially conscious worldview. The band’s third annual Rise Above Fest took place this year on May 9th at Darling’s Waterfront Pavilion in Bangor, Maine. The daylong concert benefits suicide prevention and mental illness, which touched Morgan’s family after his brother committed suicide in 2007, and inspired the hit song “Rise Above This.” This year’s headliners included Godsmack, Seether and Slash ft. Myles Kennedy & The Conspirators, with proceeds going to SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education).
The non-interactive version of the “Nobody Praying For Me” video, where the differing points of view are edited into one streamlined narrative, will premiere on VEVO tomorrow.
Seether—singer/guitarist Shaun Morgan, bassist Dale Stewart and drummer John Humphrey—formed in 1999. The multi-platinum rock band has released seven albums. “Nobody’s Praying For Me,” is the third single off their most recent, 2014’s Isolate and Medicate (Bicycle Music Company/Concord), produced by Brendan O’Brien.

June 23, 2015 - Burbank, CA - After a four year hiatus, Grammy Award-nominated, multiplatinum hard rock titans Disturbed have announced their return with their sixth studio album, entitledImmortalized, to be released August 21 through Reprise Records.  Lead single "The Vengeful One" is out now, along with the accompanying animated video from award-winning filmmaker Phil Mucci, and Immortalized is available for pre-order everywhere today. The upcoming release follows 2010's gold-certified AsylumDisturbed's fourth consecutive #1 on the Billboard Top 200, and the group's subsequent four-year hiatus, which gave members David Draiman [vocals], Dan Donegan [guitar], Mike Wengren [drums], and John Moyer [bass] the necessary reprieve to make this imminent and deliberate return.

Watch/share the official video for "The Vengeful One":

"The idea was to leave when we were at our peak, which we were, and to come back when we felt reinvigorated," asserts Draiman. "We had basically been going nonstop since 1998," adds Wengren. "We got to do our own things. It didn't take too long until the itch started coming back." And Donegan agrees: "We wanted to return when we collectively had that fire underneath us. We missed it so much that we could tap into this energy and deliver the right album. We did it on our own terms."

In January 2014, Draiman, Donegan, and Wengren met for dinner in their hometown of Chicago. Shortly thereafter, without notifying friends, families, or their label, the three began to fly back and forth to each other's respective home studios for writing sessions, marking the beginnings ofImmortalized and the first time they collectively wrote together since 2001.

"For this album, everything was written in the same room," Draiman remarks. "It was wonderful experiencing how it used to be back in the day for us. That became apparent in the material, whether it was the passion of the performance, the power being harnessed, or the feelings evoked. We could feel the difference."

To push themselves further, the group headed to Las Vegas' Hideout Recordings to work alongside producer Kevin Churko [Ozzy Osbourne, Five Finger Death Punch]. "The goal was to find a producer we felt creatively comfortable with, but who could challenge us and spark a new evolution," said Donegan. "Churko did that."

The resulting record features the unshakable first single "The Vengeful One" - "Musically, it's got that old school metal sound," says Donegan. "It's definitely Disturbed!" - along with an outside-the-box cover of Simon & Garfunkel's "The Sound of Silence," unlike anything in the group's catalog.

"I think the fans will feel like it was worth the wait," says Donegan. "We've been planning this for the past year and keeping it a secret so we can't wait to hear the response. I hope fans realize we have a lot more left in us. This album reassured me of that. To be away from it for almost 5 years, get back in a room, write together, and tap into that fire is awesome. Part of me didn't want to leave the studio! We still have a lot more to say. We still have a lot more to do. We're returning stronger than ever. I think Immortalized shows that."

Formed in Chicago in 1996, Disturbed have sold 12 million albums globally, scored nine No. 1 singles at Active Rock Radio, and had four consecutive albums debut at #1 on the Billboard Top 200, a feat shared only with Metallica and Dave Matthews Band. Their quadruple-platinum 2000 debut The Sickness formally announced their arrival as hard rock leaders, with that status solidified by their subsequent gold-, platinum- and double platinum-certified records as well as a Grammy Award nomination in the category of "Best Hard Rock Performance" for "Inside the Fire" in 2009.

28 NOV - LONDON, UK***

Guests on the second annual Motörhead's Motörboat will experience once-in-a-lifetime events with two ultimate heavy metal icons.
On the first night of the cruise, one of the most heavy metal moments of all time will occur when headliners Slayer perform outside on the deck stage of Norwegian Sky under a red blood moon. September 28 at 10:47 PM Eastern Time marks the fourth and final lunar eclipse (sometimes referred to as a “blood moon”) of the current lunar tetrad (a series of four consecutive lunar eclipses with six full moons in between). It is one of only eight tetrads during the 21st century. Some believe this occurrence is a fulfillment of the “Blood Moon Prophecy” and signals “The Rapture,” as described in the Bible in Acts 2:20 and Revelation 6:12. Few bands come close to matching the intensity that Slayer brings to its live shows, with songs that mirror the turmoil and aberrations of our society, so the performance could not be more apt.
In the spirit of the evening, while waiting to see if the “end of the world” prophecy comes true, guests will celebrate “Blood Red Night” by donning something crimson, while enjoying Slayer’s intense performance during this rare astrological phenomenon.
Later in the week (Thursday, October 1), Motörboat guests will celebrate 40 years of the world’s biggest and baddest rock & roll band of all time--along with the release of Motörhead’s 22nd studio album, Bad Magic (due out August 28 on UDR Music/Motörhead Music)--during Motörhead’s 40th Anniversary Bash. Since imitation is the sincerest form of flattery, guests will be invited to dress in their Motörhead best, or even as Lemmy, Phil or Mikkey themselves, while enjoying cake, libations, and of course lots of heavy music in honor of the rock legends.
Motörhead founder Lemmy Kilmister says, "40 years of Motörhead will be celebrated aboard the Motörboat, so boys and girls, you know what THAT means, right? There won't be a dry throat in the house!”
Motörhead's Motörboat--fueled by Monster Energy--will embark on its second voyage from Port Miami September 28 on Norwegian Sky, with stops in Nassau and the private picturesque island of Great Stirrup Cay in The Bahamas before returning to Miami on October 2. Visit www.MotorheadCruise.com to reserve a stateroom.
Additional performers have been added to the Motörhead's Motörboat lineup, which already features some of the greatest heavy rock bands in the world. New to the roster are Corrosion of Conformity (recently reunited with original vocalist/guitarist Pepper Keenan), The Shrine, Others, No Words (featuring guitar prodigy Nik Kai), Butterside, Sonia Harley, The Dead Deads, along with comedians Brian Posehn and Big Jay Oakerson, and late night comedy and band interviews with The S.D.R. Show (Sex, Drugs & Rock-n-Roll Show) with Big Jay Oakerson & Ralph Sutton.
The full lineup for Motörhead's Motörboat is as follows: Slayer, Motörhead, Anthrax, Suicidal Tendencies, Hatebreed, Exodus, Corrosion of Conformity, Phil Campbell’s All Starr Band, Crobot, Motor Sister, KYNG, Brian Posehn, Fireball Ministry, Huntress, Big Jay Oakerson, The Shrine, Others, No Words, Budderside, Sonia Harley, and The Dead Deads.
Motörhead's Motörboat offers guests a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share an experience with their favorite bands and to see unforgettable performances on various stages throughout the ship and on the island of Great Stirrup Cay.
Norwegian Sky offers 13 complimentary and specialty dining options, 12 bars and lounges, a coffee bar, an outdoor pool, and five hot tubs. While onboard, guests can try their luck in the Sky Club Casino, relax in the onboard spa and get their heart pumping in the fitness center or full basketball court.
“…a metalhead’s dream. Think Hard Rock Hell-with-hot-tubs.
On the high seas. With a hard on.”

About Motörhead’s Motörboat: In 2014, the first annual Motörhead’s Motörboat sailed from Miami and visited the port of Cozumel just off Mexico’s Yucatan Peninsula. An international, multigenerational audience from over 30 countries came together to celebrate the legacy of the cruise's iconic namesake and escape into five days of true rock ’n’ roll living with no holds barred, highlighted by a pair of ear-splitting performances from Motörhead themselves. In 2014, “The Loudest Boat In The World” also featured performances from Anthrax, Metal Allegiance, Testament, Down, High On Fire, Kill Devil Hill, Zakk Wylde, Jim Breuer Band, Danko Jones, Fireball Ministry, Wilson and Cilver, as well as a spoken word performance by legendary heavy metal musician, author, and television personality Scott Ian.

Indeed, when Slash headlines the Ice Hall in Helsinki on May 28, MONROE will be the invited "Special Guest," opening the show in front of thousands of fans; after that, he heads across to London to play the Camden Rocks Festival on May 30.

This one-off UK appearance at Camden Proud will be filmed by celebrated videographer/photographer Ville Juurikkala as part of the video for the first single from Blackout States.

As with Horns and Halos, the new recordings see MONROE both toasting the future and honoring the past, occasionally giving the nod to glam punk pioneers, Hanoi Rocks, the group with which he forged his name in the early-to mid-'80s.

Says MONROE, "I'm extremely excited about our new album, Blackout States. It has all the ingredients of a perfect rock 'n' roll record: strong melodic songs with great meaningful lyrics that defy all clichés, delivered with a punky, ballsy attitude by a killer band. I highly recommend Blackout States to anyone who's even a little bit interested in what real, authentic, high energy

rock 'n' roll at its best sounds like today."

MONROE has a number of festival appearances locked into place for the spring and summer, with further international touring plans to be announced shortly.

SOILWORK to Release New Album “The Ride Majestic” on August 28, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records

Watch a New “Let This River Flow” Live Video Featuring NIGHTWISH/REVAMP’s  Floor Jansen

Touring the U.S. this September/October with Soulfly, Decapitated and Shattered Sun

Sweden-based melodic death metal experts SOILWORK have announced details regarding their forthcoming 10th studio album, The Ride Majestic. The new album will hit stores worldwide on August 28, 2015 via Nuclear Blast Records. The Ride Majestic was recorded by David Castillo at Studio Gröndal, and was produced and mixed by Jens Bogren at Fascination Street. The cover art was illustrated by Róbert Borbás (Grinddesign / www.theartofgrinddesign.com).

The Ride Majestic will be available in various formats (CD, Vinyl, TS/CD Bundle) - pre-order your copy here: http://nblast.de/SOILWORKMajesticNB

SOILWORK vocalist Björn Speed Strid comments, “We just put the final touches on our new album, The Ride Majestic, and all we can say is that it's going to be massive. It definitely picks up where we left off with The Living Infinite, but slightly darker, atmospheric and almost anthemic, with some really interesting twists and turns. Can't wait to play this epic beast live!  Await the ride majestic ladies n’ gents!”

In celebration of The Ride Majestic’s impending release, SOILWORK have released a live video of their hit song “Let This River Flow” featuring Nightwish/Revamp singer Floor Jansen, which comes off SOILWORK’s most recent DVD/Blu Ray output, Live In The Heart Of Helsinki!

Strid states, "I was really excited to work with Floor Jansen, especially since we haven't had any female guest artists featured on anything SOILWORK-related before. I first got to know Floor via email some years ago, when she asked me to do some guest vocals for her other amazing band Revamp. I was absolutely thrilled, since I really respect her as a singer - she can do it all: amazing clean vocals, powerful high and low screams and can shape her voice into just about anything. I thought I'd "return the favor" and ask her to do 'Let This River Flow' with me for our live DVD in Helsinki and boy did it turn out amazing! It was really cool to meet her in person as well, her presence is majestic and she has a great sense of humor. I think our voices match perfectly in this almost anthemic song, which showcases a lot of different types of vocals."

Last week, SOILWORK announced their upcoming European headline tour, dubbed the “The Tour Majestic”, with support from Hatesphere. The European dates will follow SOILWORK’s upcoming U.S. tour with Soulfly, Decapitated, andShattered Sun, in addition to several European summer festival dates coming up soon.

Also beforehand, SOILWORK is slated to perform at the 7th annual Metal Hammer Awards in Berlin on September 18, 2015. Read more via the Metal Hammer website and buy your tickets here. See below for all currently confirmed tour dates.

Swedish metal eminence SOILWORK were spawned in Helsingborg, in 1995. Following two highly acclaimed albums Steel Bath Suicide (1998) and The Chainheart Machine (1999) on Listenable Records, SOILWORK joined the Nuclear Blast roster in 2001. The band’s unique blend of melodic metal developed at a staggering rate as they released a new bombshell each year; touring aggressively throughout North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. Some of the highlights included Ozzfest alongside headliners BLACK SABBATH and IRON MAIDEN and an arena tour with LAMB OF GOD and KILLSWITCH ENGAGE. Their latest release, The Living Infinite, is the first double album in melodic death metal history! Adventurous yet true to the band’s identity, this Jens Bogren-produced (OPETHAMON AMARTH), twenty-song powerhouse is the ultimate proof that SOILWORK are true masters of their art and as relevant as ever!
